I hope this still fits with the forum rules, it is meant as a little heads-up. I am not selling anything here.
So just in case it is not known, yet, there are some Elfquest Pins as relatively new (official) merchandise:
https://arcanevault.com/elfquest-pin-cutter/
10 USD
size here is roughly 3,25 cm x 4,14 cm.
https://arcanevault.com/elfquest-pin-collection/
108 USD for 12 pins in a first issue (seems to be a pre-order), most characters can be guessed by the shadow-shape

Having extreme family issues right now and have little time to myself. Will try and participate this year. Already have a couple ideas. Where do we post said ideas for approval and/or discuss with others about options? Is that up yet or do we do that here? Will try and check in more often when and wherever possible.

Growing up in a rural area in the States, we didn't have access to much besides donald duck, superheroes, and eventually ElfQuest, but in the past two decades I've found a lot that is worth my shelf space and attention. The Jim Henson stuff from Archaia (DArk Crystal, Labyrinth, and Storyteller) were really good and not just cash-grabs. Castle Waiting by Linda Medley. The Autumnlands by Kurt Busiek. Saga by Vaugn and Staples.
Here in Finland I've discovered the norwegian series Pohjantuli (Northern Lights) aka Nordlys by Malin Falch. So so so good, and right on the nose for anyone who likes Elfquest, and eeeeee the Finnish translation of the 7th book is out tomorrow! ![]() Anyhow, since I've found that young-adult graphic novels are a great way to work on my finnish, I've been also enjoying Sisarukset Grémillet (Sisters Grimm?) from France and the finnish Myytiset (was so excited to find fantastical graphic novels based on finnish lore!). For fandoms, I've been active in some MMORPG fandoms - Everquest and Vanguard - but that's about it. Question: Do you keep any toys/figurines around for your inner child? |

...That's a really tough one. Repeating the same thing over and over I do a lot, but usually for a certain period, and then I want something new. This is especially true for music for me, so I think that is the toughest.
My book would be Crusade in jeans by Thea Beckmann (Dutch writer, first read this book when I was 11 -- the movie adaptation is awful, don't watch it!), my movie would be Pride (a British movie from 2014, comedy/drama/queer history), and my TV series would be Star Trek Voyager (because it's... home, lol). I have lost count for all three how many times I've consumed these, so seem like mostly correct choices. Now a song... even one album is a hard choice, honestly. Hmm, one song I have repeated many times and has a bonus of being almost 10 minutes long, is Venice bitch by Lana Del Rey. It's very chill too, and I can sing or hum to it. I guess this is it. ![]() Q: Do/did you read other comic books besides Elfquest? Or are there other types of fandoms you have participated in? |

This question has been sitting here for a bit so I will answer. New Kids on the Block. I mean, I don't know if that's altogether unexpected but when I was very young, about 9 my (first) favourite musician was David Bowie, so I think people assume that I like "good" music for the most part and wouldn't enjoy a boy band.
Question: If you had to choose one book, one movie (or TV show), and one song to listen to for the rest of time what would you choose? |

Thank you kindly! Dewshine is wearing a hair clip with Tyleet's wolf ornament as a tribute to her lifemate and to her being a Wolfrider. Her cloak is going to be not only lined with her usual feather decoration, but also with Blue Mountain hawk feathers to show the connection to Windkin and Tyldak. I hope it gets a bit clearer here:
![]() Phew, coloring this is going to take a while. But I'm looking forward to it. I'm going on a two week vacation on Sunday, so she has to wait a little bit. |

Oh my goodness this is so lovely already! The reference is great, there's such a sense of motion in it,and it's coming across beautifully in the sketch!
As for symbols - glider themed earrings maybe? A wolfskin shrug hanging off her left arm? |

Thank you, Maggie! Ohhh, I love that portfolio. That's good reference, I need to go and check that out again. Wendy's ink work was so so amazing back then.
