I'm afraid I won't be able to get mine done. I have dedicated this year to get my house in order, because it's a big mess in which I can't concentrate on projects, I can't find the stuff I need, and I can't get things done. Basically I'm keeping all my projects on hold until my house feels good again.
Unless someone steps up and says "I can ink and color your sketch" I won't be able to participate. I don't have a sketch yet, but I promise to make work of it, if someone is willing to finish it.

Ah, I just postponed that tidy-up program. ;) But I know how you feel. It's acceptable currently here, but there are stressful times in life that let me neglect things and after a while a lot of paper starts to tower...

Maybe someone who already finished can help out? (Not sure when I'll submit. If everything proceed well maybe early October.)

No worries about me ("it's acceptable here", "early October"), I finished last weekend but wanted to give myself a little bit of distance to my own work to judge again, polish and probably submit this weekend. :)
I even started my tidy-up program. ;)

Well, I'd have additional ideas but these won't fit in the short remaining time and besides, I guess I'll be more busy with life during October.

3 weeks to get those submissions in, kind of getting scared at this point, as only 6 submissions are in and over 18 people signed up to participate.  :woe

I'm still counting on submitting mine, I just don’t work well with too much time on my hands!

While being terribly absent from this site lately, I am still optimistic I will get mine done in time.

Silentleaf seems to be very eager to do some more art. ;)

From my side I am not sure if I'd be a reliable source of support these days (many things left to do). Besides, from a technical point of view I'd probably have to get myself into digital colouring / GIMP of pixel art. So I'd need some time to get myself into handling the pure technical side of it. Moreover one needs to check the other one's intentions and imaginations not to collide with your own way of applying colours. E.g. vivid colours vs. soft pastel tones, possible light sources, background and so on.
So I'd try only in emergencies.

What I'm going to do is wait until the first week of November, if I don't have enough entries and haven't heard from the people who signed up, giving some kind of explanation/asking for an extension then I'll come begging for help.

Sound like a plan?  ;D

Yes, sounds like a plan, but mid of November might already a bit of a close call. Guess we'll have to wait and see what happens.

I'm here! I'm working on mine and should have it done on time! Sorry for having gone back into lurking mode, but I've not forgotten.

Plus I'm having so much fun! It's been ages since I've "elfed."

Well, technically the calendar doesn't come out until January, so there's still time. I just prefer to get everything handed over to Mr. Pini before the holiday rush.

If anyone still wants to get an entry in, you have until November 7th to hand it in, or contact me for an extension.

So I was right! I just knew one with Rayek was suddenly missing.
*makes a dangerous growl*

But it's good to see that we might reach enough entries for a calendar.

Alright, submissions are closed and we have more than enough entries. YAY!

Thank you everyone who participated and for those that couldn't this year, there's always next year.

I'm going to be posting a new thread  in about a  week so we can discuss the 2018 fan calendar theme.  ;D

I'm so happy there were enough entries! When will we find out if our submission made it in the calendar? I'm very excited!
