I wish it was being released in comic form, I used to love getting the story that way.

It seems they will also release it in analogue comic form in the future. I also like it better that way.
Also, the page will be on BoingBoing for just 24 hours and then move to Elfquest.com.

Yes, which is obviously a good thing.  I am happy it will be available as a "comic/graphic novel or book" later on, I don't mind on-line stuff but one page every Monday...

So -- for now, it's going to be released as a webcomic, one page every Monday?  That's going to be the schedule?

Just wanting to make sure. 

I'll be interested to see how that pace feels.  A lot will depend on the comic itself, of course.  I can totally understand wanting to stretch it out by releasing it that way -- it gives Wendy the most time to build up a buffer of finished work ready to go, whereas releasing more pages as a time, or on more days per week, would run through that buffer more quickly.

But in my experience, 1-page-a-week webcomics can be kind of frustrating to read, unless they're multi-page releases on that day, or unless they're particularly well-paced.   

If this is the release strategy they've been contemplating for a while, it'll be interesting to see whether they've tailored the pace of each page to compensate.

I am not so sure that the concept was made this way, one page a week, I mean. I don't know all the details, but at least it sounds a bit like this solution for publishing came up lately.

Let's see how it will "feel". I am still pretty excited that it is finally starting and that I live to see the Final Quest happening.

Yeah, I read several 1-page-a-week webcomics where it feels totally fine.  And only one where that pace feels like watching a glacier move.  So it's all in the storytelling... and even if they didn't plan for it, it's not like WaRP aren't very experienced at storytelling and pacing.

I really am liking the line quality on that first page!  Nice start!
