1. Moses, a religious cat, focused on spreading the word of Christ and "protecting" his owner Melissa.
Surely you mean Ceiling Cat, not this Christ person. :lol
Kidding, you made some damn adorable cats. ^^  Hani is my favorite.

Ceiling cat, heh, I like that.

Thanks. I loved drawing these animals, they were fun. Thinking about maybe making a comic with these characters, if I can get a orange marker which doesn't smell like perfumed oranges. Or more colors if possible in letraset, I like these better than copics, though I do see the benefits of them.

Colored the Harry drawing which nilla/Vojira/Muse-of-Chaos/Dj Ambient Freak made. My photoshop has mucked up, so cropping this in a size which was okay to color and not 2 cm tall was a challenge. And Scanner took away most of my shading. D:

Copic for skin, black pencil, and Promarkers.

I love it, Star!  ;D The shading and the eye looks really good. (was the first thing that caught my eye )
I'm surprised you got red, yellow and blue to work that well together! Nicely done job! :)

You should have seen the original, the shading was way better there than here.  :-\ The only thing which the scanner didn't wound was the undershirt. It was a tad too dark in the real one. But I guess that is a common predicament.  :P

Hehe, yeah, scanners tend to eat some layers of drawings.

Oh, forgoy to say, that red and gold was mostly because everyone dresses him up in it because he is a Gryffindor. School robes are fine, but else it gets tiring. Since yours is a Raven, it didn't bother me as much. Blue/red, red/green, blue/yellow, and green/brown was all wrong. (One was Christmassy, one was Swedish, another patriotic and another boring.) As for the shirt, I took everything which wasn't green, (no, I don't want to compliment his eyes.) And blue happened to be it. XD

Also, bright colors on snakes in nature means that one is dangerous. He is psycotic and Rawenclaw's Scare, so I thought, why not.

Still playing around with my markers... and discovered something totally awesome, something I didn't know was possible, and most of ya will laugh your ass' off. I discovered... blending. Not the blender, but how to blend two colors to get that lovely, smooth which you find in flowers. Not that mine is that good, just that I found out how to do it.

taken from here: http://fairycoloringpages.blogspot.com/search/label/COLORING%20PAGES

This one is the one I'm working on right now. Mostly finished, only, I need some suggestions of light source, and wing color, I can't for the life of me figure out either of them.  :-[

O,o now that's a beauty! Maybe a bit on big side (then again, what do I know), but the colouring looks fantastic!

Heh, that's my scanner. It always either makes things enormous, or display a tiny size which hurts to use. Even when using the plus to show 100 % size in PS. XD It makes things far more interesting.

Oh, and the markers I have used are copic (E000) on the skin, Promarkers on the rest. Flower: Orchid, powder blue (two to the layers) and pear green. Hair: tan, three layers and one layer of honeycomb on the hair holders. On her clothes, leaf green, pear green, buttercup and pink carnation.

The markers I haven't used are cocktail pink, burnt orange, royal blue, poppy, pine, cocoa and copic E00 and E11.

Just so you know what colors I have yet to work with, or suggest. Though I can always beat out my somewhat neglected pencils.

I know this is technically a non EQ corner, but I guess I could take this one in here as well. Made this in December, on a tudor dollmaker.

Humour me a little here.

Just felt like doing a human series. Despite being interested in the Middle Ages and such, the Tudors have never interested me. So I apologize if I do some blunders here.

I present to you, Princess Skyfire, the youngest heir to the throne. Her nanna, Rellah, keeps whispering that she is the rightful heir, not her brother. She and her brother has a feud because of this.

As she grows older, she goes to even further lengths to insult, belittle and deride her older brother. He is starting to understand that she could become a threat. However, she knows well that despite the intellectual parties prefer her, the brother's allies are far stronger than hers.

Time passes. The princess begins to understand that she will not become Queen. It saddens her, letting go of that dream. Her maid, an old woman by now, urges her on. She rules when her brother is out on various deeds. They are prospering, and she loves it. Yet she knows this is no permanent arrangement. Or so she thinks. One day Two-Spear, as her brother is called behind his back, claims it is time to go on a holy war. She sizes the chance, and challenges.

She wins, yet she lets him live. Those who follows him are exiled along with him. Finally, her dreams come true. She is Queen.

I had totally missed the fairy! The colors are wonderful. Look how lovely the single colors blend together! So, you're enjoying the markers? For the wings, how about making them more or less transparent, like giving them a very soft blue coloring and leave some areas white to create a more fragile feeling?
The Skyfire story is killing me! Even the ear is damaged in the last one! :lol

Yes, I very much enjoy the markers.  ;D The promarkers suit me a lot more than the copics. While I do get why people like them, the brushtip is convenient since it is easier to have a lighter hand, they don't bleed as easily as the promarkers do, and the refillable thing...  we just don't click. Bit hard to explain, it is the feel in them. That, and the copics are not easy to acsess here, nor are they cheap, while promarkers can be found in my favorite bookstore, and craft shops, and are way cheaper.

When you say softer blue, the flower she isn't holding is my lightest marker blue. Is that one too hard? Well, both flowers are done in my lightest, however, the one she is holding has been used three times, while the other is two times.

As for Skyfire, I had to include a missing piece on her ear, I imagine their challenge was rather rough. Also, she'd have more scratches and wrinkles, but didn't know how to include them.

The blue color would be appropriate, I think. I wish I could describe more clearly when I say "don't color everything, but leave white spaces".
And you do very well with the promarkers! Geesh, I had written "pornmakers"...tsk,tsk.

LOL! how would they work? Just put the marker to the paper, andit would guide your hands to make porn images, or would they be sold to do rather creative things while doing hanky? Actually makes me wonder if anyone has done artwork and advertise it with that...   :o

Probably.  ;D

Okay, so I stumbled over a group on deviantArt, where they create wonderful art with muro. I knew already that one could do nice art and create cool effects, but holy! Of course, I accidentally deleted the best piece I've made like ever with any media...  :'( but I'll share what I liked best of the other images I made in this.

Funny thing is, that I often start with a idea, but let them grow in my hands, something I learned by writing. This started out as a experiment to draw Bowki, but then it grew into a non EQ elf girl, 25 years of age... who died. Just stopped waking up.

Wow! That's totally modern. Eh, is that pic taken at a point where she has stopped waking up? ;)
I think I should find out more about muro.

Muro is a very simple digital drawing program which you can play with on DA. It doesn't have layers, and just like when using Paint, you can undo only four times. However, they do have filters which you can use. I usually use my iPad to use it, it is the closest thing I come to a tablet or anything close, until I get one and a computer which doesn't overheat every 30 th minute.

More like how she was remembered after her death. Post mortem guilt. everyone thought they could see something wrong, after constant tossing and turning every single event.

---

Okay, I ended up having to do the fairy again. My mother tosed some papers, and my fairy among them. >:( So, here I stuck to purple and blue and green. Some yellow too.

And an unfinished fairy. Trying to practice body shots, and someone need to teach me to not press the pencil so hard.

Remember the guy made with the blue strokes on the iPad. He has a name now. Moishe Goldhirsch. Fourth generation immigrant from Latvia. Fluent in English, and Yiddish. Lives in Ireland, just finishing his degree. Now... guess what he works with on the side of studying.  :pirate

Most pirates had to drink their boredom and many woe's away, so it makes sense that he is drinking.

But my character don't drink... Much that is. ;) but thanks.
