Nighsea reported the following to me, which I cannot reproduce myself in any browser:

The EQ Fanart Member Character thread refuses to load all the way for me.

That one thread always goes white before it finishes scrolling down.
The place where it hangs up alternates, but usually I can scroll a bit
but then it all disappears mid-post (sometimes one person's post,
sometimes another's).

I've tried both Firefox and IE browsers and have the problem in
both of them...with clean caches also and refreshed pages.

Has anyone else experienced this? If so, which browser versions do you have, and what is your ISP?

I have no problems with it, I have IE8.

Okay for me too using Safari. 

That is a pretty pic-intensive thread.  I used to get hangs like that on similar sites when I had a slow dial-up; I think it just overwhelmed the modem.  So it might not be an ISP problem.

Aye, slow connection speed is what I suspect, but she said she has Roadrunner, which I believe is cable.  So I'm not quite sure. Hopefully someone else will eventually report the same problem, to give me more data points to work with.

I have the same problem too, I use Firefox, and oddly enough, my brother's computer that uses Firefox doesn't have it, and we live in the same house so we have the same internet provider!... the difference is that this computer has ubuntu, and his doesn't... but every time I want to check the character list, I have to use his computer...

That is interesting Berit...does your system otherwise load web pages as fast as your brother's?

hello! sorry for this late reply! (hadn't noticed that you commented back!) well the problem is all fixed here, now that this site has changed, I wonder if anyone still has problems with it... and I'm not sure what caused it, both the computers load pages with similar speed here... well, it''s not an issue anymore, but does someone still have problems?...

Haha, blame it on the old, icky webhost then. ^_^ Until someone sees it again, of course.
