I really like the style you're using. Me, I can't commit to one style alone so mine is a mess. Particulary like the angry elf one, for casting shadow at the back.

And the background of the vampire one.

Not commiting to once style sounds like exploring and experimenting which is awesome and what I should do too. Keep on doing that and keep on having fun when drawing :)

I do very much like your mermaid piece, especially the dynamic lighting. She's like other sea creatures who produce their own bio-luminescence.
