Thanks for the info, Foxeye! But it doesn't quite answer the questions I asked. To be more specific: I wasn't trying to make a hidden album. When one creates a new (sub)album, in the Privacy settings you get the choices of allowed membergroups, allowed members, password protection, and disable browsing (which I assume means a 'hidden' album.) Do any of these fields sort at all for a member's age statement (from their profile) when viewing either the individual images in a Mature album or, more importantly, seeing the thumbnails on the site's main Gallery page? For example, one of Sihreie's pix in the Main Preview has a red M next to it, yet I can see the thumbnail and click on the image. AFAIK, I'm not in any of their membergroups, haven't asked for a password, and my age statement doesn't have a year designated on it. If a Mature image is fully viewable from the main Gallery, it kinda negates the purpose of having Mature albums/pages.
What are the steps that one goes about to make certain images are only viewed through said filters?
And my 2nd question...I get the delineation point between an average image and a Mature one, but are there any levels or imagery that is considered too graphic for even a Mature designation? Not that I'm into drawing severed heads, graphic assaults or whatnot. But I wouldn't want to cross a line that I didn't even know existed.
[EDIT:] I just re-read part of your post, Foxeye. Do I understand it correctly to mean that the individual user/member is responsible for their own Maturity level filter? If so, that doesn't seem terribly secure. Not sure how you'd keep the under-18 crowd from accidentally (or purposely) seeing Mature content.
