(Don't worry about it Jeb! but it's so good to hear about you!... and if there is something you want to discuss with, be it rpg related or not, you can send me a private message... not saying you should... but I know how hard it is to deal with things in life alone... and don't fear being judged if you want to talk... I'm just glad you are still around! and take as much time you need to heal or to find your place among anything! You are welcomed to return if you ever feel like it!.. same goes to all of you!... I'm going to share here that I too, have been battling quite bad depression lately... I almost had to call help from a hospital to it... and it was revealed that I might be suffering from EDS, that would explain why I'm always in some sort of pain... so that's where I've been! but worry not, I will recover, because roaches like me are hard to kill!..)
Ironglory looks at Antaka for a moment in silence, then says in a certain sadness to her voice...
"I... apologize... but this is something I best do alone.... ... I wish not to... scare others...... so let us find a small shelter..."
She turns around, and seems a bit mournful... Toad locksends back to Antaka...
**She is... badly disfigured... from all the battles she has fought... worst ones she gained when she was not yet a warrior... still she took a weapon and did what she could so others would live... ... she was badly wounded in battle and... tortured by the enemy... other elves tend to avoid her after seeing her face...**
Toad looks after Ironglory for a moment an respectful silence... then toad sends to Antaka...
**Once she was a mere village maiden... but now... she is a true warrior and a leader like none other.. she is a lady....**
Toads words carry a lot of admiration towards Ironglory, he is not romantically interested clearly, but would follow his leader to the ends of the earth... Yare looks a bit suspiciously at them all, but starts picking sticks for a small fire...

Solstice sends but Stormsong does not respond, he is alive, still battling the call of his fallen family... his eye are blurry and stare into nothing... when Stormvex arrives he does not respond, but clearly has fight left in him, he feels the new family needing him still... his wet nose twitches a little by the new smell... Marut calls back...
"Okay! We'll try our best here and will help you when we can... and thank you!..."
Stormhunt recovers slowly from the weird need to blindly attack anything living... it makes her feel like a betrayer for a moment, but that feeling quickly fades, it was the filth that made her almost flip, and was not her fault... she also feels like the gunk somehow... changed her a little... like she could now smell the creatures that carry the filth from a distance!... (Yay! she gained a skill!) Runedance's drink makes Stormhunt feel a lot better! it takes the rotten taste away from her mouth!..
Marut gently rubs Laluna's shoulders and looks at her, he sighs a little when Laluna looks more stable now... Woodfox gently takes the stick out and feeds her some dried herb balls, they make her feel a little better and numbs the pain, but they also numb parts of her face and fingers... And suddenly, Laluna's own magic reacts with the herbs, making her heal faster!... Wander just looks everyone at a moment and them slowly walks to them, not believing what he saw... they really battled something... he asks from everyone...
"C-Can I help? what happened here? you all just... fought... something I couldn't see... got wounded by it.... I... Please... tell me how I can help..."

Ironglory's only eye gazes at Antaka from the shadows of her helmet, she lifts her hand below her chin and sees a droplet of blood falling onto her gauntlet... then she jumps back when Antaka suddenly rushes to take her helmet off, she backs away...
"I am fine!... no need to take off my helmet... "
She seems quite unwilling to show her face, but calms down...
"'Tis just my old wounds... some of them do bleed slightly... when snow starts to fall... I think the next night might be snowing... we should seek shelter before dark falls..."
Yare seems suspicious the moment when Ironglory doesn't want them to see her face... when Ironglory walks a bit further, Yare locksends to Antaka...
**What was that all about? what is she hiding??..**
Toad sighs and suddenly a dead fox drops between all of them! after it a screech form the skies catches their attention... it is the big blue bird... she looks at them for a moment before flying off... the fox is a gift from her to them!...

Marut gently lifts Laluna's head when Woodfox pushes a piece of leather under it. Woodfow puts a stick in Laluna's mouth and says...
"bite into it. I am going to set your ribs in place!..."
without saying anything more. he pushes her side and the ribs crack back into pain! a huge wave of pain flushes over Laluna!... Marut looks at her teary eyed...
"Don't die... please... you will make it!..."
Woodfox looks at Laluna and wraps clothes and sticks around her rib case to keep everything it place, it makes breathing harder but the pain subsides a little... Woodfox says...
"Next we have to fix what is broken inside... I will do my best... but... herbs can only go so far..."
Woodfox starts grounding very bitter smelling herds ans moss into a paste... Marut gently caresses Laluna's forehead...
"Hey... ... I think you are going to make it... and when you do I will dig for the prettiest of flowers for you from under the snow... so you can smell the spring sooner than the rest of us..."
"I am fine!... no need to take off my helmet... "

(and I am super late responding! there was a thunder that pretty much lasted few days, then I had to go to the hospital to check my blood pressure and it was super late I got in because there is still a lot going on with the Covid-19 and lastly, my mother (who is a drunkard) suddenly dropped by and I had to keep an eye on her so she wouldn't try to go drive home herself (it's a couple hours drive) so I paid for a ride... that was very VERY late! but DANG! maybe now I get to focus on things! So I was the one late from responding! sorry! SORRY!)
Toad looks Antaka with his blue eyes and smiles warmly, but steps back so Antaka would not get frustrated with too much hugging... Ironglory looks at Antaka, and Antaka sees that some blood drips from under Ironglory's helmet!... she might be wounded somehow!... Ironglory nods and says...
"I too am not sure how this magic works, but what I've seen of ancient magic, it is capable of both wondrous and horrid things... it must be an elf to controll if... one of your friends... or someone we don't know..."
Yare looks at them all with his evening sky pink eyes... Yare asks...
"is anything we see... real?... is it a hallucination?... that cannot be... we still get wounds and... die... when these monsters attack..."
Yare gets very frustrated and angry...
"What ever this is I want it to stop! and I will do my best to make it stop!..."

Laluna tries to save Wolfsbane and reaches for her! but the beasts trashing makes the ground shake! Laluna loses balance and then the beast steps on her as well! Laluna hears her ribs crack apart and instantly blood gushes to her mouth! something, an organ was crushed and punctured!...
Stormsong lays on the ground panting, his vision gets blurry... he sends, weakly...
"...pack.... family... came back.... they call.... Stormsong... they call Stormsong to... follow..."
Stormsong takes a deep breath and falls completely silent.... but solstice's presence somehow makes him still linger, unsure if he should follow his past family or stay here with his new friends... He is at death's door... Solstice is the only one keeping him here... and solstice smells it clear as day! poison in the rot! poison and tainted magic!... someone might be able to do something still is solstice finds help fast!...
Stormhunt tries to bite the thing but gets some of the goo in his eyes while ripping the beast! it immediately burns and blurs his vision! strange fear fills his mind and makes him suddenly unsure who is an enemy and who is friend! he might still be able to snap out of it! but it is hard! (must roll 4 or bigger to not attack friends!)...
Runedance attacks and shoots an arrow, it flies through the beasts nostril, piercing everything inside it's head and then exits' from the back of it's neck! the best, let's out a weak groan... and leans forward... crashes down in front of them... it starts to decay on alarming rate, coloring the snow orange from puss around it!... a strange feeling washes over them, odd relief... like the thing was sapping their minds while it was here, they just didn't realize it before... Marut sighs in relief... but then walks to Stormvex, Marut looks at the monster and asks...
"What is that thing??.... what do you think might cause something like that?..."
Then Marut noticed Laluna and Wolsbane broken on the ground!...
"LOOK!! We must help!! Hold on! I'm coming!..."
Marut rushes to them and is horrified seeing blood on the ground that's from Laluna's mouth...
"HEALER! QUICK!! We need a healer!!..."
Woodfox also runs to the horrified and starts pulling out herbs from a small pouch...
"These will dull the pain! she might die from pain alone!! someone with a knife! I need a knife!!..."
Toad looks Antaka with his blue eyes and smiles warmly, but steps back so Antaka would not get frustrated with too much hugging... Ironglory looks at Antaka, and Antaka sees that some blood drips from under Ironglory's helmet!... she might be wounded somehow!... Ironglory nods and says...

Stormhunt tries to bring the bunny to the ground but the bunny's mass is too great for her to be able to do such a feat, but she manages to hurt the bunny more!..
Solstice bites down and feels her teeth sink in! a little too much actually, and her instincts kick in and she knows something is badly wrong! a pungent smell of rot pours from the wound! her instincts save her from getting rot on her mouth!...
Stormvex feels his weapon sink all too deep, like he is stabbing a large water skin and then he too feels the smell of rot permeating the air and sees corpse maggots falling from the bunny's mouth! He manages to pull bad before he gets any of them on himself!...
Rune Dance strikes his weapon straight to the spine and feels it snap but puss starts spraying from the would all over, coloring the snow putrid grey and yellowish brown! He manages to avoid it and then the horrid smell hits him too! the thing they are battling has been dead for long already!...
Stormsong bites down! (he rolls 2! noo!)
Stormsong dosn't sense the danger in time and the rot pours from the bearbunny's wound into his mouth, he immediately backs down when he tastes it and vomits violently and suddenly loses his ability to move and just shivers in the ground...
(Marut throws 5)
Marut shoots the bunny in the eye but also sees the maggots that pour from the creatures mouth!... mortified he stares at the thing, now it is clear that the beasts only eye never even looked straight at them, it stares emptily in the direction it was when the beast originally died...
Woodfox loses his cool and takes more distance, covering Laluna, Wander and Mehadrin instead of fighting... Mehadrin passes out and drops to the snow...Wander looks at Laluna...
"What? what beast?? rabbit?? what are you talking about? I see nothing there!.."
But he listens and takes shelter behind the tree, while trying to understand what is going on...

Toad listens to Antaka and then walks closer, his steps hesitate but only a little... He heavily but warmly grabs Antaka's shoulder...
"Nay! you shall not falter My good warrior! I have seen your will power... the fact that you even came to this place tells greatly of your inner steel... my fine lady... your will, is stronger than mine..."
Toad bows down deep, full of respect... but then bounces up and suddenly wraps his long arms around Antaka! hugging her cheerfully...
"And if it were to happen that you fell to this curse... I will personally promise you that I shall protect others from your burning fury!..."
Toad seems very happy... Yare looks at them and sighs...
"W-well... what ever that was, I'm glad it's gone!... but since when did humans have the power to do magic??... they cannot handle it, can they? I really though it was impossible for them..."
Ironglory seems deep in thought... then says...
"I fear there might be one of us helping them... one who has harnessed to gift to use... rotten magic... the very thing that was left to the ground by high-ones... what else could it be?..."

(Ok! four days wait should be enough! but now I will continue and if anyone has something going on can't respond, I'd love it if people would tell me, now you don't have to be online all the time, and if it's something personal, you don't even have to tell me why, but notice would be nice!)
The rabbit let's out an roar that makes the earth tremble and snow fall off of trees!...
Wander stares at them all and asks...
"
What? what is going on? what are you all doing?..."
Marut cocks a arrow in his bow and takes a better stance to shoot at the beast! Mehadrin screams and runs behind everyone else...
"SAVE me same ME!!..."
The rabbit jumps and ends up high in the air and lands on top of the tower with a huge thud and breaks off parts of the stones just by it's sheer mass!... then launches itself towards them mouth full of deadly sharp teeth!... Marut releases his arrow (marut rolled 4)
he misses the bests mouth but hits it square on the nose! the rabbit rises to it's hind legs like a bear and roars from anger and pain!... Stormvex manages to hit the rabbit straight in it's stomach! a deadly spot for bears! the halbert sinks in deep, cutting muscle, fat and sinew... Solstice bites the beast's heel, stopping it from moving so fast and Stormhut is able to attack the neck of the bunny! biting down deep! blood sprays out of the bunny, coloring them both red!... rune dance slices the side of the beast open, but like marut, didn't hit anything vital..
Woodfox shoots with his bow (he rolled 3!) and hits one of the rabbits flailing ears but doesn't do anything much in his panic!... Wolfbane attacks ready to headbutt the leg of the beast (and rolls 1! oh no!) but slips and the bunny steps on her! Wolfbane baas in pain! Stormsong follows Soltice's lead! (he rolls 5!) and bites his teeth deep on the inner thigh of the bunny!...
Wader looks at them all in confusion, especially when Laluna also acts like there is danger... Laluna pick up a branch from the ground, the branch is slightly pointed at the end but not the sharpest thing to be used as a weapon Wander asks...
"W-What is going on here!?"

Antaka Attacks the pole with all her might! the ropes snap and she kicks the thing off the mountain! it falls down, hitting every stone on the way and antaka hears it in her mind a chilling screams of many things that fade away as the pole drops into ravine... strange relief washes over them all, serenity after a madness the pole was causing... Yare catches his breath and is on his knees... he asks...
"What.... was happening? what was that pole!... th-the madness! it almost got hold of me!.... thank you...."
Toads rubs his own face and seems deeply disturbed by what happened...
"it screamed... the pole... screamed...b-but... it was made of dead things!... not things that live!... by the high ones..."
Ironglory leans on her spear... then looks at Antaka...
"Warrior... are you alright?... you touched it... are you alright?..."
Antaka feels that she is alright, just relieved that the pole is gone... and strangely, she feels as if something that was limiting the range of their sending has also subsided a little... but she also feels it... something still blocks some of the sending... there must be another poles like the one she just destroyed...

Antaka feels that she is alright, just relieved that the pole is gone... and strangely, she feels as if something that was limiting the range of their sending has also subsided a little... but she also feels it... something still blocks some of the sending... there must be another poles like the one she just destroyed...

Just wanted to throw this in here just because stuff sometimes happens that is embarrassing! So those who are willing to tell about some of those things, it would be nice to hear!... gonna start with one that happened quite recently...
Well, I helped out a lady who had her car stuck on a curb by helping her back to road, because I happened to walk an saw her struggling... after I helped her in that I also noticed that one of her legs was in a cast and she had lots of shopping bags so I asked if she needed help getting them to her apartment from the car and she seemed very surprised and happy that someone was willing to help her, well I carry her bags to her porch and she takes them inside, then she asks suddenly if I'd like to come in to have some coffee... I said sure but I liked tea more, she giggled... we went inside and she asks me to wait in the living room... then she suddenly comes back butt naked and smiling very seductively!... apparently we had a very different idea on what "having coffee" meant!... that was one embarrassing encounter!... Who ever came up with the thing that having coffee means something other than coffee!?...

(They are not on the top of the Mountain, but on a cliff that has a strange pole, there is still some way to the top, it is a mountain after all!)
Toad rubs his shin...
"They did gather bones and skins and they took them to this tent they had.. but I am not sure why... the skins often belonged to their own tribesmen who had wronged them in some strange way... or to those who tried to get away from the tribe..."
Yare suddenly vomits aggressively and holds his head, starts to sweat...
"T-That... that thing... t-that pole! it's... it's driving me mad! my head hurts!!..."
Yare let's own a scream and falls to the ground, he whispers...
"S-Something... i-is telling me to... kill you!! m-make it stop!...."
Ironglory knees down next to Yare and tries to get a hold of him! the pole somehow is doing something to Yare, and then suddenly, Antaka sees the snow turning red as blood! and something whispers to her...
"kill kill kill KILL KILL KILL!!..."

Wander looks at Stormvex and sends openly...
**but... near you... I'll be more capable of hurting you... even if you tied me up, I can still shape the stone... I... I don't know... what to do...**
Wander also looks at Laluna... for a moment he looks so lost, hurt and clearly hates himself... he reaches his hand to touch her but pulls away... fearing he will harm her again somehow... but then slightly nodding to Laluna...
Marut stops for a moment and looks at the all of them...
"Well... I can stay here with him... someone has to keep an eye out... and besides... he needs someone to help him... so you can all go..."
Marut seems eager to leave the group for a bit, he is a loner and all the social interaction clearly makes him wary and cranky... he notices this himself too... Marut looks at Stormvex and everyne...
"sorry... there are so many new faces... and I'm too used to living on my own... I didn't mean to offend you... I just.... think I'm coming a bit old..."
Marut scratches his beard...
"I just want what is good for everyone..."
Wood fox jabs...
"Well, OLD MAN! I bet it's best for us young and fresh individuals to go and do stuff! you sit your old butt here!..."
Marut smiles and nods... then says...
"... really... I'm sorry... may I have your forgiveness?..."
He looks at everyone in the eyes... it's clear that he means what he says... Mehadrin suddenly screams so that the whole opening echoes!...
"L-Look! there is something headed straight for us!... and everyone feels that they are losing their mins! it is a snow rabbit bigger than a bear!! it is clearly rushing in for an attack!..."
Marut stares at ti for a moment, that is not normal at all!...
Wood fox whispers...
"What in the knot is going on!?!..."

The mother bird look at them and clearly can't wait to greet her hatching chicks... Ironglory keeps a firm hold on Toads shoulder in fear that he might slip and fall again... when they move away from the nest the bird quickly lands on the nest to warm her hatching children... she seems calm and happy again not that there was no harm done, she looks at Antaka straight in the eye, clearly thankful that they did not hurt her eggs... Toad says...
"By the High ones... my carelessness almost caused us harm and made the poor bird uncomfortable... I am so sorry for being so clumsy..."
Ironglory looks at him...
"'Twas an accident, My good friend... I am glad we are all alright... and Norah Warrior here clearly knows more of animals than I do... That is a good thing..."
They happen upon a cliff where they have a great view straight to the tower... and there is a strange pole there, it is coated with stretched skins and pieces of carcasses... and weirdly, no animal has dared to eat any of the rotting meat, Toad holds his nose...
"This thing reeks to high heavens! what is it? seems like... human creation..."

(Marut follows others outside, so he it there with them)
Wander looks at Laluna and says...
"Would you rather have me dead as well... look around you... everyone here clearly wants me dead so I won't be a threat... there are no friends for me here anymore... they clearly wound not wish me to walk away alive.... it is stretching it to ask me to stay for a moment longer... I just want you to know... I would not have driven any of you away... please be safe and may my home provide you shelter..."
Then Wander turns around and continues his walk, he sends to all...
"May weather be good and food plenty..."
Marut sighs, Then walks suddenly past everyone, he is going to get the meat, he pauses near Moondrop and the others...
"you go on without me... I'm sorry but I'm not one to leave someone to die just to save my own hide... I'll fetch food and supplies and leave them here for you... then I'll go after Wander... also, you can use my den if you feel like it..."
Marut starts walking back to his den, he clearly isn't one who fears for his own safety, even if he should...
Woodfox says...
"Okay then... well... that settles the thing with Runedance and him not probably getting along! so come on! let's go! I want to see what is behind the door!... and I can hunt better that old gruff here!..."
He teases Stormhunt but doesn't dare to go anywhere near it!...

Laluna and Stormvex easily catch up with Wander who just carries on with his walk, he is clearly depressed and disgusted by the mere fact that he had hurt others... he looks even more down when he notices that he is being followed, he sends to them...
"please... form your own tribe... take care of each other... there is no need for me here..."
Woodfox looks at the whole situation...
"Well, I don't know yet if it is boring... I'm still tense because there are so many elves here... but sure! let's go! though are we going to take that Marut guy along? I bet that having both of you on same team would just bring trouble!..."

The bird screeches at Antaka and sweeps down near them a couple of times but hasn't attacked yet! she is clearly trying to drive them off her nest! Toad protects his head a couple of times and hurries off the nest, carefully pushing the eggs off of himself! the bird strangely seems to hear antaka's sending but is unable to respond... it is more than just an animal!... Ironglory helps Toad out of the nest!.. the bird seems calmer but still agitated about the whole thing and has lost some of it's trust for them... she looks Antaka's eyes with it's purple eyes... she is one angry mother now!... but she might forgive them in time, once she sees her babies are alright... suddenly, a slight cracking sound can be heard, one of the eggs starts to hatch!...

Marut looks at Laluna and smiles happily when they agree on the part about not killing... he looks like he wants to hug Laluna for it but doesn't do so right now so she gently pats laluna's back a bit awkwardly...

Antaka slips masterfully past the nest, the mother calls out few times, worried for her nest but seems relieved when antaka clearly doesn't want to disturb her babies, she flies down and sits on a cliff and seems to look at Antaka in a more friendly manner... friends are rare here and she would rather have them more than foes!... Ironglory and Toad also look at the nest surprised by the big eggs... Ironglory sends...
**Sir Toad, we must take the utmost care not to touch the nest...**
Toad nods and goes first, but stops for a second to admire the bird and the eggs...
"What a beautiful creature... I am blessed to be in the presence of three beautiful ladies..."
Ironglory pokes Toad with the back of her spear a bit annoyed, this is not the place for such things!... Toad hurries on!...

As Antaka is about to answer she suddenly sees the reason why the bird is circling them! just around the stony cliff she spots a big nest! it has light blue eggs in it! if they approach it the bird will attack!... the eggs are big! and they slightly move...

(Yay! I'm back! A little runny nose and sore throat still but otherwise I'm all better! you try to hang in there as well, Amberfox! kick that job'sass!)
As Antaka bites the stone blade, it feels stony at first but just as she is about to take the blade out she feels it crack and there is a strange softer material too... as she pulls it away from her mouth she sees that it's not just stone, the dagger is made from a rock with gold veins in it... humans could not figure out how to separate the gold from the stone so they made a dagger like that... maybe gold is holy for them?... however, this means their weapons are more brittle than most human weapons!... suddenly, antaka sees herself from the sky! through the eyes of a bird! then the vision fades... there is a big blueish bird circling them above... it doesn't seem to be attacking now... but who knows later...

Wander is shocked at everything he hears... Wander seems to fall into depression, he quietly asks...
"...I... need to go... I... Ill take my chances in the wilderness... rather than hurt anyone of you..."

ELF bones!... a skull and ribs lay there, and stuck to the ribs she finds a crude stone dagger... human has killed this elf!...
"Did someone hurt you?..."

Ironglory, Toad and Yare start to follow Antaka who starts heading up the mountain, and not a moment after Antaka starts moving, she suddenly steps on something that cracks under her weight and she almost falls to her side... when she looks back at what she stepped on... she sees bones uncovered by the snow! ELF bones!... a skull and ribs lay there, and stuck to the ribs she finds a crude stone dagger... human has killed this elf!...

(I'm back! sorry for the late reply, I too fell a bit ill and now I'm better, no, I didn't get the Corona but some flu type of thing I sometimes get if I'am too stressed... and Amberfox called it! there IS something preventing them from sending! they can send but the distance they can do so is shorter than it would normally be)
Yare seems a bit weirded out by Antaka's touch, but not in a bad way... he seems a bitcautious about letting anyone near, but it seems he is starting to feel the touch is not such a bad feeling... Toad looks at antaka...
"but my lady... would it be safe for you to scout ahead?... I say this as I do not doubt you skills, but this mountain is... off... somehow... "
Ironglory nods...
"I would appreciate someone scouting, for it is true that Toad and I are easily spotted... so warrior of the desert sun, we will not be far back is anything goes wrong... and we will protect the pale one..."
Yare seems a bit bothered about getting called the pale one but thinks about it all, steels his mind and finally nods to Antaka and the others...
"I will find something to use as a weapon... thank you... for helping my tribe..."

Woodfox is surprised by Runedance offering him a bit of this clothes to patch his bleeding lips, he sends, smiling with is swollen lips...

But he jumps out of Fright when Runedance suddenly grabs him and sits him on one of the animals! Stormsong follows Solstice inside but can't fit trough the trap door due to his size... Inside, Marut was about to leave to get some meat until Wander wakes up but feels that it isn't safe to leave the others now that the previous threat is back, he looks at Laluna and Moondrop to see what they decide since he doesn't know Wander too well... Wander looks at Stormvex, wondering who he is...
"Oh... we have new friends?.... I am sorry that you met me like this... I am not in the best of health..."
his cloudy gaze turns to Laluna and Wander looks concerned... he gently lifts his arm and touches Laluna's cheek...
"you are hurt... what happened to your face?..."
Mehadrin looks worried and again slowly attaches himself to Moondrop like a leech! he sends to others but not Wander...
*He is a monster! we should keep him locked up somewhere!... he really tried to kill me DESPITE seeing my beauty! no normal being could so such a thing! Honey! hold me!..."

(Oh! I really hope the work thing didn't get you too stressed! I know what it's like to get scared shitless by some work thing! I once thought I had caused a major fire at one candy factory place, luckily it was just my boss texting the wrong person! sad for a person who actually accidentally burned some place down)

Woodfox runs as fast as his elven feet carry him to escape Runedance! he is happy and excited and probably afraid to get a beating from the "grumpy" elf he has snowballed! He let's out a strange scream once he sees an animal after him instead of the elf and attempts to climb the dead tree!...
(Woodfox rolls 1! goddammit!)

Inside, Marut looks at Stormvex, Moondrop, Wander and Laluna... he smiles to Stormvex sorrily...
"Really, you don't have to strain yourself... it's alright to send..."
Wander quietly moans on the floor... he might come to soon... Stormvex sees all kinds of things from Moondrop's sending, the even colder weather, the terrifying monster, he feels the confusion they have had, it tells him that this place is truly is odd... but behind the horrible things there could be something positive as well, magic that could keep this place alive even in the most bitter cold... Wander truly was different before this encounter... kind, gentle and lonely...
(Sorry it takes a bit longer for me to answer, I have a sick relative currently, Yup, it's the Corona virus... but I will post as often as I can!)

"I just hunted a deer... would you wank the fur and the leathers?... I can also make something for you if you want..."
Marut looks at her very caring, some would say he might care a bit too much, but it seems to be in his nature... then he suddenly smiles...
"Oh!... and Moondrop and I found out we are from the same tribe... sort of... and we might even be family..."

Antaka feels that it is very possible that their strange habit of naming others might come from soul names... yet they have names like Toad and Ironglory, that are not soul names themselves... Ironglory gently lifts her armored finger to Toads lips...
"Shhh... all is well, brave knight... my wounds may ache in the cold, but I am used to the pain by now..."
Toad nods... Yare looks at Antaka and shivers, not from cold but he is afraid, his pin eyes are filled with past terrors...
"eat?... I could not eat... not here... I feel like I am choking.... do you... do you believe someone is alive?... someone from my tribe??... I... I... if that is so, we must help!..."

I do know it sounds weird... and if one speaks of the other gender it feels especially intimate to speak their true name... thus Toad speaks to men with their real name, but with women he tends to give nicknames... I am sorry if he came up with a nickname that offended you..."
Ironglory nods deep... Toad is close enough the see them so he waves at them a bit... Yare looks at them stiffly as they walk closer...

Mehadrin gleefully walks further inside when Moondrop talks about his "precious toes" he feels as if someone finally noticed how pretty his toes are and appreciates them... They come inside the Tower... Marut looks around wondering where he should put Wander...

(Yeah, Marut is cool about many things, there are only two things that annoy him, one is needless bloodshed and the other, well see if anyone finds it out!)

"Oh, you can send if talking feels too weird... I'll just answer by talking... sorry for this thing!..."
Marut smiles a bit embarrassed for his strange limitation with sending... but then picks Wander up so other's don't have to burden themselves and the way he picks him tells instantly that Marut is surprisingly strong for one who isn't happy with needless fighting... Woodfox suddenly throws a snowball at Runedance and let's out a weird chuckle and runs away like a squirrel that annoyed a cat on purpose!...
Mehadrin follows Marut inside but is scared of the inside and Marut because he looks weird... he looks at others to follow like he was worried that Marut would eat him!... Mehadrin says to Moondrop...
"Are you coming, honey? and Yes, Toad and Antaka took that... Yare person... to the mountains... Ihope they bring something pretty back whan they return!..."

"Sorry... I'm bad at sending... I understand you alright but... can't send back... and I wish no bad blood between any of us... I just hold life precious... seen too many humans killing everything in sight... I don't like that..."
Marut looks at their bond beasts and smiles... Stormsong stares at solstice from afar and wags his tail... Marut says...

"L-Lady Ironglory is here too? I am most shocked and overjoyed!... I shall make haste to come to you... but I might have to speak with this Yare fellow on the way... He might be too scared to return to the mountain... please, my good huntress... please wait for me!..."
Lady Ironglory also bows down in a respecting manner at Antaka... it is hard to see how much she has suffered injuries but they are a lot, still she has the will to fight to protect... Antaka clearly sees it now, these elves truly are hardened by battle to protect others...
