ElfQuest Fan Art

For me It depends on if I want light or dark skin. I use a peach and a light tan for a light skin and just gradually darken it with using a light tan to even darker tan and just keep using darker color to what you want or like....*Did you really have to tell my secret about the scanner*

Thank you Nilla for the link of the different blue there are some very pretty colors....Thank you Treefox I had some comments over on the EQ site about making a sunset for the back ground I am going to give it a try to see how it turns out.

There might be a lot of green but I really like it...I think all of the green make Nightfall stand out more.....

I see what your talking about with the purple in it a little. I need to find a really good selection of colors and a better set of pencils. But thank you!!!!

Thank you sooooo much for your advice Nilla!!!! Besides the face being hard to the movement in the hair was just as bad. I was having a tough time figuring out the colors I was going to use for Embala, but you like them?

I colored the sky to light....  That is why it looks white still, I need to darken it some.

I was thinking of adding some plants like cactus. The face is the hardest part for me, and the profile of the face *OK just forget it*.  I have noticed that a lot of people start with the head and work there way down but this might sound crazy but I start with the waist. It is easier for me to do that...  Thank you very much for all of the help....

LOL...Yeah the feet are a little to small, The funny thing about that is I ran out of room on my paper..  I was having a really hard time with the face, I did get better withe the body but now I need to work more with the facial feachers. It is hard to do small things like the eyes on paper, When I do the eyes they usually become to small and I can't add color...I just have not been able to find a happy size yet...And yes I do plan on coloring it...Oh yeah almost forgot I thought the face frame was off a bit, Is there any thing you could suggest to help me fix it??
