In Only a kitten - Posted Aug 04, 2012
Stunning! I admired the sketch nilla shared on EQ.com ... but the finished version is breathtaking.

I can only second so much that was already said about pose and background, the hands and the coloring. The flow or coat and sleeves is incredibly harmonic.

Yet - what caught my eyes most is the kitten. You ... made it look ALIVE! I often see that excellent artists fail to capture a cat's shape and spirit. You succeeded in perfection. This kitten is adorable. And I  love how the fur matches Beyond's hair in color and softness.
In Chitter by Treefox - Posted Mar 03, 2012
OMG ... Chitter lives! It's true, there's only on reverence pic - but I did these scenes for canon. The body language, the expression, the mischief in her eyes - this is Chitter.
There's such a movement in the action shot ... and fun. The playful invitation of ther pin-up pose - pure joy. And the portrait turned out absolutely adorable!
In Clearbrook by Michelle Birchfield - Posted Mar 03, 2012
Clearbrook looks fantastic in your style! You have changed her costume design, made it fancier - yet keeping it true to herself.
Strong and determined in the action pose - friendly and free, at peace with herself in the headshot. Absolutely gorgeous!
I adore the very different mood you created for the pin-up - the warrior turned into one of the most elfiest elves ever! The use of the belt is just perfect.
In Reef by Ashley Owen - Posted Mar 03, 2012
The tilted head and shy smile in the head shot makes me wish to hug Reef. He looks so innocent in the pinup - big eyed, slender and in dressed in pink. As if it's the first time ... well, sort of it IS. I love to see him so childlike and happy again in the action sequence.

I like the contrasting colors and the idea to use bubbles as background and to connet the parts.
In Kimo by Maggie Atkinson - Posted Mar 03, 2012
*bows* Making the wolf his portrait is genius! And when I see right he has a twink in the eye ;)
The little star cousins, his exression, the little smile and the look in his eyes ...absolutely the mood for a romantic meeting. And all dreamy and peaceful in the action shot ... doing a "lei2 for another festival of flood and flowers?

*just became aware that Kimo is always shown a bit female ... and how similar his features are to Newstars*

In Skyfire by Matsurin - Posted Mar 03, 2012
Strong and beautiful Chieftess! Her expressionwhen back over the shoulder, her features with the forestgreen eyes framed by red tresses - have to love the portrait. Fantastic pinup - and again this glance over the shoulder. So much movement and fire in the action shot - true to her name indeed!
In Strongbow by Laura Melis - Posted Mar 03, 2012
Well known Strongbow :-) He looks surprised, almost unsecure in the portrait - very likeable. The eyes and hair turned out so natural ... you can almost feel it's silkiness. A familiar look for the action sequence ... and a very different one for the pinup.
The anklet proves that it is a well-thought-out variant costume design. But ... there's a fun thought coming in mind - that Strongbow has to run and grabbed the first leather he found in Moonshade's den ... ending up with some rags. *snickers* Stop kidding - I like the careful fole pattern and the little detail of the blue pearls holding the belt. I love to see him so different for once - and with free flowing hair.
In Joyleaf by Kitt Mouri - Posted Mar 02, 2012
Your style fits Joyleaf extremely well. She has the right proportions and curves ;)

Somehow your females are looking cat-like to a certain degree. Oh - Joyleaf is a perfect elfess here, no doubt. But there is something in her eyes, in her pose, in the way she is lounging that makes me think of a cat. And this looks very sexy.
In Rainsong by Larialoyla - Posted Mar 02, 2012
Hehe ... Mommy can play sexy girl - and she actually is! It's perfect for Rainsong - playful, very female and proving that Woodlock is a very lucky guy ;)
Her portrait is so beautiful, smooth and clear with knowing eyes  - the most lovely blosson in the tree. Dedicated to the family - a natural and completing choice for the third shot. You captured her loving and caring nature so well.
In Scouter by Margarita Lapina - Posted Mar 02, 2012
Hey :-) ... Scouter, the Elder looks good! Rougher edges, determined where necessary but at ease with himself again. He has matured in a good way ... actually remembers very much of his father.
In Ekuar by Maggie Atkinson - Posted Mar 02, 2012
First thought was that Ekuar is overdressed - - - but the next moment I realized that THIS is how the gentle elder wants to be pictured! Masterfully done ... very tasteful, very dignified - yet vulnerable without his peg leg. He IS naked - - - in a special way.
He looks more peaceful and content as ever in the headshot - so lovable. and last not least Ekuar how we know him best. Excellent!
In Ahdri by Mirror - Posted Mar 02, 2012
Ahdri ... WOW! This portrait is adorable - golden, the sun sparkling in her eyes, with warm skin and soft lips. So much Ahdri. I love that she is shaping a sun symbol miniature - like he was shaping the model of the Bridge of Destiny in Sorrow's End.
It took me a second look to realize that she is still wearing Wolfrider leathers instead of her Sunvillage gown - perfect transformation. Hehe ... nice cheeks ;)
In Sust by Alies Meerman - Posted Mar 02, 2012
He has so much from Daddy! No matter whether you prefer being him Pike's cub or Skot's fawn - it works perfectly. Pike's hairdo for sure - combined with Skot's go-backish, daring, mischievous expression in the portrait. The action shot shows Pile's friendliness and cheerful spirit.
and he is cute as a pinup - not taking himself too serious.

Wonderful blend, Mournsong!
In Murrel by Lisa Simon - Posted Mar 02, 2012
Her leggins looking like they are fixed with garters combined with this pose makes Murrel extremely sexy! Add the innocent, young face and she is irresistible. The headshot seems to picture an older Murrel - matured in years and experiance. She's beautiful and - alive. The hair looks almost real!
"She fancied herself a huntress" ... you captured it spot on!
In Kaslen by Joselle Ho - Posted Mar 02, 2012
Exotic! The headshot is fantastic - the lovely calm face with the eyes like green jewels, the patterns of light and shadow, the magical glow ... The pose makes me think of the spirit of a pond, dressed in the leafes of its plants.
A seductive enchantress, covered and adorned only by her tresses ... the very spirit of nature. (hmm ... there's something strange with her right leg ... like a coloring mistake changing the shape) Last not least a determined forest witch - dare to mess with her or her woods!

Wonderful coloring ... I love the addition of the delicate, contrasting blossom.
In Picknose by Afke van Herpt - Posted Mar 02, 2012
YAY for Trolls! You really do them justice, Afke. Picknose showing off is SO him ... his smirk and the wink in the eye - gorgeaous! Well defined muscles and a belly that is just meaty enough for a working Troll in his prime. A typical trollish laugh for the headshot ... and a mistrusting glare for the action shot.
The dimmed reds and greens make for a good contrast and the blue belt and bluish highlights in hair and beard connect the Troll and cave background. Me liiiiikes the background!
In Skywise by Carol Lyon - Posted Mar 02, 2012
Your art is amazing!
In Venka by Mirror - Posted Mar 02, 2012
Treefox said it well - there's all what Venka stands for - calmness and wisdom, power and protection, courage and caution. Yet ... there's something I miss. While Tyleet is her perfect self, Venka is ... different, too sweet? too cute? ... I miss the mysterious, cool expression that attracts me while others call it cold and offish.

I love the shine on her cheeks, the reflections in her her - green insead of the usual blue/violet suits her! Great poses and color scheme, lively light reflections and shadows and a perfect composition. I like how the pinup background becomes the ground for the action pose, how the shape of the branch meets the curve of her hair and the long strand mirrors the sitting pose.
In Tyleet by Mirror - Posted Mar 02, 2012
Your portraits are always so magnificent, Mirror! Soft-spoken Tyleet was just waiting for you to take her. I love that you were going with Wendy's original eye color - the gold goes harmonic with the warm autiom colors.
The windtorn rags make the sexy pose look accidentally, innocent and natural. I like her sitting in the forground, calm and patient - her very self. The rich details give the outfit the perfect balance of practical clothing and playfulness ... awesome choice of colors. Automn wine!
In Little Patch by Saskia de Korte - Posted Mar 01, 2012
Guess I have a soft spot for Human males in these calendars. Finding Little Patch here at a mutures age is a welcome surprise. A very attractive back sight - love his skin and the flowing hair. Gorgeaous headshot - his expression shows the years he had seen, the struggles he had lost and won and grown on it. His eyes lock with mine. I like how you merged pelt and hair, making the bear a part of him.
Is the action pose supposed to be so ... ambivalent? Patch seems to be tired already, aging, but still watchful and on alert. Don't mess with him - he's still strong and ready to prove his skills!
