These are all so amazing! :0 Each one is pretty and interesting and just wow! It is cool to see a bunch of fan characters done by one artist and your style is lovely.
You'll have to add Neve to your list for 2050. As soon as I can get her to cooperate with colouring XD

I love both of these! I don't see how you can be ashamed of the 2007 version. They are both beautiful in their own ways even with the different styles.

@mirror - Thank you! I kinda wanted to post all the little details about the RL connection to my self elf but it would be too long for the artwork description lol I'm working probably a little too hard on her background but I need to read a bit more about what happened w/the GoBacks before I complete it. I hope to have the picture coloured soon!
@nilla - I was so worried the super short hair wouldn't work as so many elves have gorgeous long hair, but it was definitely something I wanted to keep as my hair has always been an identity for me. Your comment made me happy

I just wanted to add my voice to the comments posted here. It can be disheartening when there is a lack of comments but I know I don't always post comments because I fear it would be stupid to just say "oh pretty!" like everyone else. I need to remedy that and give my fellow artist more support!
So on that subject - YEAH FOR VAYA! She's one of my fave characters and you made her awesome. I love the action pose and the way you did her hair.
And I'm glad you wont stop drawing. I like your work!

I had thought it would be a cool idea if we all did self elves and made a calendar of that. I would totally go for it! So with that idea I've been trying to sketch out mine but a new puppy keeps interrupting lol

I used coloured pencils as I am more familiar with them than anything. Then I used photoshop to smooth out a bit of the graininess hoping to get a bit of a pastel look to the picture ^^

I collect dolls known as BJD's and when I first saw this picture that's what I thought it was! Since I love the dolls I didn't find this picture scary or eerie. The only critique I have is the top of her outfit doesn't look as "real" as the rest of the picture. I love it none the less ^^
