Goodtree - Final
This was the actual finished painting I did of Goodtree shaping Father Tree for the 2010 calendar.

I didn't realize it was supposed to be landscape and not portrait until after it was done - of course.

Sooo I size it down to be the right height for the dimensions it needed to be and then digitally…

Okay so well ... it's done. Even got the fixer on it so it's a done deal.

Not too horrible a job. Was done on Bristol paper, which is really not the best surface for watercolors, always winds up with a rough texture to my eyes, but oh well.

Well, they are now inked.

Screwed up by using a larger pen than I should have, so I messed up their noses and a few other details, but oh well ... it's been a long long long longgggggggggg time since I tried to do a finished piece of EQ fanart so I'm sort of rusty.
