Clearbrook (C/C 2)
by Wildfire
Alright, I'm not really sure if this should have a Maturity warning because of the sexual innuendo, but in the end I decided not to. If that was wrong, please do tell.
This is NOT finished, but I'd like som critique before I continue working on it.
Also, I'm not certain what to do with her hair. Should I let it encircle her legs or just float freely?

An alluring picture! Her face is lovely.
I think (personal preference here) that having her hair in a mostly-together mass in the water, with a few tendrils, would be the nicest. I'll draw what I mean in a bit. Before I give other c/c and a drawover, what methods will you be using to work on this? Tracing to a new paper, erasing pencils, etc? I don't want to make suggestions that would be too difficult to implement. |

I usually scan a sketch and then I change the picture a whole lot in GIMP with a tablet. So the initial sketch can change a lot, as well as most changes can be incorporated. So, go ahead

Oh good, so resizing and moving bits around in GIMP probably isn't a big deal then
Hopefully you can make some sense out of this. Here's my drawover, one version with your version slightly visible underneath and one version with my notes completely covering it. 1) Drew in what I meant about the hair-in-the water. I also drew how I thought her hair would have to drape if it weren't covering her back 2) Arms-elbows: Her arms were a little too small, both in thickness and length. Also felt the near-shoulder was a little too high, though that may be more personal taste 3) Back curve Bright her waist in and her ribcage out. I luvs me some sexy back 4) Head. I copied your head, sized it down to about 92%, and moved it left and down a bit. Let me know if you have questions! | ||

Thank you! That's really helpful. It's the first time I'm attempting shot from behind, so your comments are really appreciated. I'll look into it and post a new picture with the corrections.
