There are a lot of great things going on in this image but I have to say, the peaches look so delicious. Every time I look at the image I get hungry. But seriously, the submission is really lovely with so many details to look at. Thank you for joining in this year!

I don't know why, but I'm mesmerized more by the images in the background. The preservers are fun, the wolves are wonderful, and is that Strongbow? The preserver contemplating the feather just grabs my attention. Great shade work on Aroree reflecting the leaves, and what excellent work on the difficult foreshortened pose!

First hat off to that perspective!! Wow, so brave to tackle that and it looks amazing! Aroree looks so happy with providing the high hanging fruit. Lovely shading and details on Aroree and that is a darn pretty outfit you gave her! So many details! I would like to know the story behind the preserver with it's feather. The wolves look super and also super cute! And another person here who would like to try those fruits! I'll pretend that they are Yuzu, which I utterly love! We actually not see many fruits on the World of Two Moons in the comics, do we?

Holy shit the perspective! You pulled it off amazingly. Must be amazing to have a Glider picking those high hanging fruits for you, huh? Speaking of, just looking at that fruit is making me hungry for some. Too bad it's winter.

Ah the benefits of levitation / gliding . Just float up and pick what you desire or what you want to bring you dear ones. That is light-hearted scene with an unusual perspectice; with puppies and preserves and light/shadow-patterns in the forest and some intense orange-yellow-coloured fruits that even outshine the colourful preservers.

Thank you all so much! I am very glad I pushed past my discomforts with drawing published characters and joined this year.
For the ‘Story’ behind the piece. This is meant to be on Starhome, some many turns after Stargazer’s Hunt. Aroree’s hum has found new harmony, and with it an ability to dream again. And in those dreams she is a mother. Which prompts her to go on her own quest. Other hearts and hums are healing too. Strongbow visits with the others more, encouraged or drawn that way by Moonshade’s spirit. She draws him closer to the heart, where the Palace seed has rooted and became the Elves new home. Both find their feet taking them to the scroll of colors. Moonshade’s spirit enters the room with joyful song and laughter, echoed by the spirits of the Eight. Delighted and awed the two are drawn into the spirits dance until they are dancing together. Soul meets soul when eyes meet eyes. A turning of seasons later, Aroree has come to pick sweet fruits for Aurek and Strongbow, even though he sleeps. The preservers with her are happy and singing. So por Strongbow is awakened when Aroree places a small basket of fruits outside his den. The feather is found as a fletching discard by one preserver, who ponders how to add it to their cap. |

Aww, that's a beautiful story. I really wish it would be that way.

Wow, I am amazed at how well you tackled the forshortening perspective! That's just amazing!
Thanks for sharing the story behind the picture. It makes it even more beautiful. I am also a sucker for those bright, strong colors. |
