I'm pleased you were able to get involved in the calendar again Amberfox. I have to say, how you managed to draw all that hair and the detail on Salt's tail, I have no idea. I would not have the patience for all those lovely swirling locks.

Well, you know me and hair. I had some issue trying to figure out this guy's coloring because every time he's depicted, he looks different. I ultimately went with the one image where Surge rushes past him; he was full bodied and had interesting details, like the...well...mutant waist sporrran. I couldn't tell if he had scales or not, so I tried to make them faint. This took a lot of time, but I actually enjoyed it. Will do my best to return for 2025! Thanks for all your hard work!

Ohhhh! This is beau-ti-ful! I am also super happy that you are back! The way Salt frames the picture is genius! Love, love, love the use of colors! You are sooo good at that! I totally feel you that he looks different every time he's shown. Many newer characters have that tendency, I think. Those violets and browns go sooo well together. And I love how Salt seems to point the way toward their happy end. All characters look gorgeous! And it fits a little bit together with my Suntoucher and Toorah pic!

This is a nice idea to use his merman form as a frame for the inner image, which also contrasts the cool sea tones with its palace-style warmer shine. Long hair underwater, especially along with a flexible merman-tail seems to be something very versatile, too. :) Also the palace-dwelling form is reaching a little out of the frame with one hand, as well as Spray's foot. Looks like they could step out of it any moment.

Ah, this is lovely. You and hair indeed, it is amazing. Love the framing, showing his future. But my favorite thing is the shades of blue and green. You're right, Salt has a lot of different designs, huh?

This looks as if it belongs into a fairy tale book. The whole composition reminds me of one of these illustrations that you find in Grimm's or Anderson's stories. I adore the details on the tail. I can only imagine that it must have taken hours to color it. The colorful background adds a great athmosphere.

The idea just suddenly struck me, but thank you all for your kind words. I actually worked on this off and on at work; the lighting is best there. Now to get busy with the 2025 calendar!
