Wonderful! What better model could there be in the world of two moons or this world? Of course, Pike using Winnie’s hair as a brush made me lol. So cool to see all the different elves and generations making their interpretation of Rayek. It really looks like a lot of work went into all those details. I wonder who those hand barely out of sight belong to. Wendy herself by any chance?

Thanks. :)
Well, so I am slightly biased against an "elves and arts" topic now ;) but this is what came to my mind last year. And, besides the obvious Rayek, I also wanted to have some characters inside I did not yet draw, and also from different times, as well as some shaping, so it's not limited to painting.
The hand... well, it's hinted on the very paper the hand is painting on. This is a bit "meta", as a certain someone is just drawing this very scene.
And Pike kind of is my joker for this types of action. :) He's one of the few who could pull a stunt like this.
Took me quite a while this image. And lots and lots of counting. ;)
I was also long torn between this and a simpler, more serene scene, but then my madness won.

Good to have such a willing model, posing is hard!
And so colourful, I love it.
I feel like the hand in the front is ours, all the fan artists. ;)

Winnie: "wha...? What are you doing, let go of my hair, you mutt-elf."

Rayek is such acute elf, who else could be a model?!?
The idea of putting yourself in the picture is so funny and imaginative! BUT: is this jaRf or Adarion? And if this is Adarions hand that we see, what does he look like overall? You might draw an Elfquesty image of him? (grin)

I love this! Rayek makes such a good model, and I love how natural you made all the brushes! My favorite detail id Maleen holding the brush between her teeth, I do that too when I am thinking.

Thank you kindly. Well, in her case it is a mixture between pondering and just needing a place to put the brush while she's working with a different one. Yes, it is quite a lot of brushes and other things in this image ... ;-)

*snort* Pike painting with their hair! Wonderful! What a great combination of characters! Love Rayek's pose, he knows that he's oh-so-pretty

Thanks! Yes, only Pike could pull that off. And Rayek just, um, offered himself to pose with that oh-so-pretty attitude. ;)

Yeah, I can see this of Rayek. So GQ. This is one of those illos that you can look at all night and still see something new, so many details. Love the humor with Pike using Kaslen and Winnowill's hair as a brush, and the addition of an unknown hand drawing really gives the feel of the viewer's perspective doing the art. It is easy to see you put a lot of time and effort into this! Glad your madness won out against sanity so we got this terrific entry!

I modeled once for my art class.  Of course I chose a tough pose and I was so sore at the end of it! I donned my elf costume with ears and drew a bow while standing on a rickety desk. Never again.
