Dewshine wip

Been writing a lot lately, and just as I was about to draw Nightfall or Leetah, who I usually subject to experimenting with different mediums ( this time digital) I thought that I have never drawn Dewshine before. So, have this sketch I’m working on. I feel like people forget that she is one of the primary archers in the tribe.
So yeah, have a mesy, not quite finished Dewshine sketch.

I love to see Deshine as an archer! We see it not often enough. Such a cool pose. My only critisicm would be that her statue is too heavy. Dewshine is so deer-like thin and fragile.
Love to see this pic! Very inspiring.

Nice. I do love the skechiness. Also like the pose. Seems like to be in a perspective from above. I don't really pictured her as an archer as in the panels I remember her, she fights with a knife. I do have forgotten she's an archer!
Since I had seen this, I have a picture from her in my head I probertly had seen somewhere else, but can't find it. Your skech is indeed very inspiring - I am coloring an old pic in the moment. |

Treefox, thank you! You are right, she should probably look even slimmer. I think a part of it is the pose and the arms especially, I was heavily referencing the reference photo to make the stance as right as possible that I forgot to take into account how darn skinny she is.
Yavia, yeah, right? I keep forgetting too, to be honest. And like, she does use daggers as well, like in Original Quest when she tried to help Scouter who got strapped to the zwoot, and in Siege when a dagger was her only weapon. But she primarily uses a bow when she can choose, both seen in the Palace War and in Wild Hunt. |
