Oh, I dig this! I love the sky, it really reminds me of those twilight scandinavian nights in the summer. The tree is simply done but very effective. Not to mentionm the glare Moonshade is is throwing the mountain! We never saw much of how she felt about it, it was overshadowed by Strongbow's massive trauma. The mood is tense despiute the scenic background and I love that contrast!
The only critisism I have is that the line of Moonshade's arm is following the ruffles of her dress. Since the image is rightly dark, it makes it look like the ruffles are the end of her arms. I was actually about to critisise her weird noodøle arms before I noticed. Maybe it would help to have her skirt higher up on her leg would help remedy the problem? |

I didn't notice the noodle arm until you mentioned it! That's definitely not a great detail, I think if I angled it a bit more it would solve it. Great catch! I usually check for tangents and stuff, this one is pretty bad and slipped entirely past me
Thanks! That's definitely the mood I was going for, I think Moonshade was Very Angry during that time! |

Hmm, come to think of it, I think Moonshade may have been angry about a lot of things, things she kept away because Strongbow needed her. Despite being the Keepers of the Way, both Strongbow and Moonshade seemed to have trouble really grasping it. And that she never got the chance to truly feally feel it before they were living a happy life in the home of their ancestors, where they grew up. And then the Palace beckoned because it was a way out.

Indeed, I also think Moonshade has many reasons to be angry. I love this night picture! So perfect color scheme and the whole layout is just wow! Thank you for finally posting this, I've been staring in awe at this for months!
