She turned out quite strange and alien in a good way I think.

I like that eel. Or rather, I assume it is an eel? But yeah, there s a strange almost etherial quality to this. The hair, the eel and that expression. Great work!

Thanks you guys! :love
Startear, it definitely started out as an eel, so it is basically an eel. By sheer coincidence we saw a documentation about an eel-like being called "Schwimmwühle", which is a quite fascinating amphibia, while drawing this. So, it turned out a mix between an eel and a "Schwimmwühle".

"Schwimmwühle"  :lol What a great name!
The hair is absolutly stunning! I love it covers everything around her, frame her like long hair in water can do. The Eel-wühle looks sweet and happy. Because of some chin scratches Moonmirror is doing with her thump? Looks like it :D

The hair certainly demands attention in this, being so amazingly luminescent.  She definitely has matured into a lovely adult! The eel/Schwimmwuhle (sorry, don't think this computer has international symbols available) does look as if it's smiling, but if she was tenderly paying you attention, wouldn't you? Great work!

So kind of you, thank you! I think the "Schwimmwühle" indeed enjoys being near Moonmirror for a little cuddling time. I wanted the little weird creature to be happy. :)
The name basically means "swimming and grubbing". So funny and somehow cute.

I adore the underwater feel that you captured with just hair - then I saw the eel and wow... Is she an animal bonder?

She is not an animal bonder, but the Wavedancers are often shown interacting with aquatic wildlife, so they seem to have a natural good relationship to them.
