Toad's lookout - 2020
by Berit
Very fast sketch I never planned to color but as I was waiting for people to come over and check the property for damages... and those ass crackers never showed up! I hate having random people over and I hate waiting for random people! now I'm mad!... but anyway, slapped some fast coloring to this to pass time...

This looks cool! At least you could draw while waiting. Toad looks so heroic here!

Czarine is right, there is something very heroic about the piture. I think it is the angle, I halfway expect to see a flag in the backround.

Wow, that heroic lense flair is so super!
The angle is great! Sorry that you were kept waiting... I also hate if people just don’t show up... |

What a heroic pose and angle and lense flair! Missing a flag in the background too.
Just to ask, how tall is Toad? Like Aroree? or taller? |

Very dramatic and heroic, emphasized by the terrific glare. Despite being a quick sketch, this really has the effect of being an animation cell. Great work on the coloring and shading, very effective.
I always drag my art with me whenever I have to deal with others because I know I'll have to wait for ridiculously long periods for a couple of minutes of their all too precious time. I've starting bringing my art to work with me again now that it has mercifully slowed down to a manageable amount. I've missed it! |

I usually prefer line art - but this guy just shines with the color job. You can feel the cold and see your own breath. Lovely.
