Amberfox
by Startear
So Amberfox pointed out that almost no one has ever drawn their character, and that simply won't do. Due to Norwegian schools being in lockdown (which strikes me double, since I attend University AND am a teacher, lmao) I suddenly have lots of free time. I have carved out two hours every day to draw, so I decided to experiment with only oil pastels and using different technique. Hope you like it, Amberfox, and happy St.Patricks if you celebrate that.
Medium: ochre acryllic base, oil pastels and watercolor pencil.

Yay, more Amberfox fan art! I haven't used oil pastels in a looong time, so I'm not sure I would know how to use them anymore. I hope you make more art with them!
At least this Corona pandemic gives more time to create art... |

Ohhh! So cool! Love that stache! It's great that you make such good use of your free time. We are working from home office, which is also nice, but still means more or less the normal amount of work.

Oh! it's nice to see stuff about amberfox's characters! people do rarely draw any of them... and I like the ochre color theme this has! it goes very well with the bright greens!... and the shine on the collar thing looks very neat!...

Eeeeeeeeeeeee! Thank you, thank you, thank you! I absolutely adore this! You've done a terrific job with my Amberfox, and I love the shamrocks (Happy belated St Patty's Day!). I can easily see Amberfox draping himself in them and prancing about. He takes so very little seriously; he just lives life! I agree with the color scheme, it works perfectly for him, and the mustache curling up at the ends is really cute. I'm sure it did that before it grew down around the corners of his mouth. This does remind me of an old manuscript or woodblock rendering, which is a compliment. It's true so few draw my characters; even over the turns I've been in the fandom, it was rare someone did. Ah well. I'm extremely flattered and thrilled! You flattered him very effectively!

If this is a "start" it is a really good one. Amberfox's eyes really pop with the complimentary green going around the composition and your pencil work is really starting to look more relaxed and confident. Niiiiiiice!
