Rayek starts out Children of the World in the same outfit we know from the latter part of Kings of the Broken Wheel, but that gets abandoned somewhere in the wild woods of the New Land when Timmain has to save his tail from a human (https://www.deviantart.com/art/Children-of-the-World-III-p26-first-draft-684195147). These are the new, duller leathers Moonshade whips up for him.
