I originally had many other characters (and ideas) in mind but once I had all the submissions handed in and saw what everyone else did I felt like the Wavedancers should be represented. So Reef made it on to the cover. He's a bit like a blank canvas since he isn't a super developed well known character. I thought I could infuse a bit of my style into him but still keep him looking like himself. |

What a perfect tittle! You caught the depth of spirit that this character has within him - a venerability tempered by an undiscovered strength. What a wonderful expression you captured on his face. Lovely, lovely colors as always - the oceanic glow on his skin is memorizing and the scales are a hint of brilliance.

This is gorgeous as always! Your lineart always impresses me, it bold and soft at the same time which is wonderful. Love the colours and the film grain-esque look really adds to the impression of it being underwater.

So FQ reched you finally.
 A usually calm elf in a calm scene. He might be asking, hey, do you want to come with me discover the new calendar? I'm surprised with what limited palette people can create impressive art. There is some drop-spotted texture on his skin, which reflects the little sparkling air bubbles in the water surroundings. Interesting. |

jaRf...no I still haven't read Final Quest. I remember him from The Discovery graphic novel and found one image on the EQ website with his more updated look.  Glad you think he's interesting.
