Maaan, we get so many great color schemes this year! Just loooove this whole palette! What a great "morning after". Gosh, Jink is absolutely perfect! That expression and that outfit! You even included that shawl. That Neverending! Man, this extraordinary! Also the blurred skyline background! So great!

Haha! This fits my feeling at the moment perfectly (I stayed up until 4 a.m. celebrating the new year).
 The warm light makes everything look so soft and comfy. Now I want to sleep too...

Yay, a Neverending! I love how everyone but Jink looks so darn tired, all partied out. Love that the tail looks to be propping one of them up. Meanwhile Jink looks like she is ready to go again. The painterly style is really working fot you! I'm almost surprised that this isn't the January image, haha! And man, that blurred background! I love everything about this.

I hardly ever had any relation to the "future EQ", but that does look funny. I haven't even a clue about who's who. And they do have a mix of modern appearance but also some "old school / medieval" touch. It even strikes me as a bit decadent, but then, I shouldn't be such an old gloomer and declaring every over-alcoholized party as decadent.
It's an interesting light composition, a bit ambivalent between morning and evening, though the scenerey with the party makes me think of the morning sun already rising. Those sparkly glasses look fancy and futuristic, too. But whose bed is it? Jink's or the dragon(?)'s bed? |

 I know that a lot of people don't really know these characters, the whole FutureQuest setting seemed to turn a lot of people off, and the storytelling *was* quite different from "normal" Elfquest  I'm not even sure of how much is still canon now that Stargazer's Hunt is coming out (which I haven't read), but I'm glad I got to draw this group. Characterwise, the green dragon thing is Firstborn Newbreed, a Neverending serving as a kind of liason between the humans and the Neverending if I remember correctly. He's not exactly friendly, rather rude, and it takes a while for him to become part of the group. The blond human is Kullyn Ken, Jink and Tamia's boyfriend. He has some sending capabilities. His outfit in the comics is straight up Boring, so I played a bit around with it. The dark-haired lady is Tamia, girlfriend of Kullyn and Jink. She has a bunch of issues with insecurity and self-worth, but one of my favourite scenes in the comic is where Jink shows her through sending how she looks to Jink. And lastly Jink of course. An enigma wrapped in an enigma. I remember lots of discussions on her heritage back in the early 00's on the SoC She's got so many outfits, but Wendy recreated an old cover (or poster?) of her with the shawl and a red dress, so I decided to go with something similar. @JaRF - the "story" is that it's Firstborn Newbreed's bed, and that the trio is rudely interrupting his early morning with their decadent (not a wrong word at all lol) partying and the humans eventually falling asleep much to his dismay and Jink's amusement
