Again, no computer here so I just hope this photo looks like something! I bet it's blurry because my phone camera sucks!...

Anyway, long story short, found blue and skincolored sugar and thought that I had never sculpted with it so I gave it a try! but I dried the sculpture wrong so it became brittle and broke so Laluna lost her hair and head, I was able to attach the head to the body with some glue! but sadly the hair was in so small pieces that I could not save it... so more glue and I slapped some yarn there!... also, because it was not purely sugar sculpture anymore, I cheated and colored the clothes and face details with nail polish I use to care for my pet snails shells normally...

Laluna turned into wiener headed goth elf!...

She does have that Goth vibe about her, but it's really not a bad start with a medium you're not familiar with. Certainly better than something I'd manage.  I never was very good with 3D work, but I did try. I think what might help is smoothing the top of her yarn hair, which is sticking out perpendicular to her head. Keep having fun with experimenting using new media; it helps inspire me!

Whaaat? How do you scuplt sugar? Whaaat? It looks a bit goth-y, but that's not a bad thing in my book! Amazing, especially as a first try!

Thank you both for commenting! I should try this again someday, the tenchique I used is called Amezaiku, though I have no real idea of what I'm doing, I just copied what I saw, I also used sugar that wasn't transparant... and of course I failed miserably art making it edible! (yarn, glue... yeah...) but this is a small video of how it's done... https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DW9Y0aIKXeY
