Another illo that didn't want to upload properly. Surprise illo I did for Berit. Berit has posted illos of various characters as merelves, so I thought, why not Marut? This is what I came up with. His hair is wet but slowly drying to stand up. Laluna observing in the background, ubiquitous oblivious bunny just out of reach.

Man, I love those details on Marut's fins! And is that a baby-froggy? (Tadpole? Not sure what they were in English...)

Yea! I'm glad you spotted froggy friend as tadpole (yes, that's the correct English word); after all, this is "origins" so froggy would still be a tadpole. It's also why you still have your long braid. This illo took quite a bit of work, and Marut's tailfin I got the idea for the coloring from the clothes he wears (browns and greys). I tried to give your tail details, but what I did just didn't turn out. I'll have to try again at some point. Hope I did her justice!

Laluna looks great, thanks! It's been a while since she's had long hair. And the idea of "origins" sounds fun! I wouldn't have even thought of making Froggy a tadpole. Clever!

Oooh, what a wonderful idea! This pic is sooo elaborate! The little froggy truly puts the icing on top! The colors and details! Also love that handsome hare.

WHAAAAT!?! I didn't comment on this?? I was certain I did! DARN!! but this is wonderful! I like that frog here as well and mer-Marut looks a peeved off that the darn bunny is there, just out of reach!... again, absolutely wonderful coloring work and details!... Thank you so much for drawing this!...
