I visited Berit during Christmas vacation, and he gave me a sketchbook, gel pens and colored pencils! 
I tested the sketchbook right away with my markers to see if they bleed through (they do). I think it might work the best with colored pencils, because the paper is the absorbing sort. Maybe I'll try it with watercolors too, even if the paper is a bit thin for that.
Anyway, the gel pens didn't spread with the Promarkers, yay!

this picture looks very nice, and Laluna looks very beautiful! almost a kind of "come hither" expression with a casual pose. |

Haha! No, we have just been friends for over a decade.
 Receiving art supply presents is the best! We always end up drawing a lot of stuff when we meet, so it's a fitting gift.

Markers always bleed through, just remember to always put an extra sheet underneath.

woah that's a long time....though what am i saying, i've had a friend for like 6 or 7 years...@_@ we've never visited though...i really should go visit her. but that's really cool you guys get to hang out and art together!!! i can image you guys popping in a movie, sitting at a table, coloring and talking and munching on food.

Hahahah! Yeah! we definitely are SO in Love!! right Czarine! Me and you, and Luna and me... and Insertio and me! DANG I have so many lovemates I don't have time for other stuff!...
I'm just happy that some of the stuff was usable! you never really know with new art tools... but this turned out great! the froggy is happy climbing the tree! it's not a tree frog by birth, but it is now through sheer determination to stay with Laluna!... |

Yup! We're so in love it's OOZING out on the paper! Maybe that's why you have so many glitter art supplies...!

Yes! so.... is my mom part of the love group?... NOOO!!!!!.... but seriously though, I should really invent ways to use the glittery stuff as it keeps piling up every time my mother visits...

Haha, isn't it a nice surprise to come into a glittery apartment? And you said you cannot sparkle!
Man, I still love the picture, though! Really, the composition and the way the markers are used for the sunny and shady parts... It looks like a day on which it would be nice to be in the shade. |
