well they don't have the same coloring as the eagle they killed so might not be it's babies. it's sad the other ones died...whhhhhy >.< but of course birds possibly can molt and change their color patterns, so maybe is still on the table. well it's gonna be fun seeing what happens with these!
they are very very cute though.^^ |

Can't be eagles. The nest was found on the ground and the chicks are already feathered. This would imply a ground nesting bird with precocial offspring, so maybe a grouse a bobwhite quail, something along those lines. I'm leaning toward a quail; those are markings typically found on them
Love the coloring on this. It lends itself to such a soft and gentle scene. And, of course, being a bird person and nearly losing my "baby," these two are especially adorable. |

Amberfox, I truly wish you all the best now, life has the most annoying habit of making everything go wrong at the same time, it's never just one thing but multiple bad things... try to survive the onslaught of crap! I know it's hard but you can make it!... live to see flowers grow on that crap!...
