Cutter and Rayek Piano duel

Starting on a project to collect all my EQ-related artwork here. I will just do a few at a time to not flood the gallery.
I don't know what inspired this. Maybe I had just watched the movie "Shine" about the piano player, but I had an idea of Cutter and Rayek in a piano competition. Cutter is paraphrasing himself from when Rayek floats him down into the Troll caverns before the war.
Cutter is supposed to be seated at a grand piano, while Rayek waits off-stage.

Hihi, why not Mantovani? This is an interesting idea. Somehow hard to imagine Cutter doing something delicate as playing piano.

Indeed, Cutter at a piano... but then, well, he's still fiercly fighting. Maybe also fighting with all the keys.
 If I could just recall that movie, there is also a little clip of it on youtube, looked like eighties, a school class and the teacher is trying to teach them, but one young adolescent man is constantly messing around and it seems like he's quite a lost case. But somehow he sits at the piano and plays really well. It looked nearly scary with all the focus he put in and all the people who are totally surprised about this skill. I want to see/hear Rayek playing piano next, of course. Ha!  You're welcome to put your art here, Jeb! |
