Another illo from "A Most Surprising Event" by Janett Beasley. After Teranin open sent for anyone to come and help him fight humans and rescue his heavily pregnant lifemate, these three are the first to arrive. Glider Bloodwing (Robin and Janett Beasley) carefully brings healer Sona (Janett Beasley) to the scene being led by glider Eagleclaw (Craig Hagood). I admit I blundered with the height difference between Bloodwing and Sona: they're actually supposed to be only a couple inches difference. Oops. I was happy with the drawing to the point I really didn't want to redo it and correct the height.

Aaaah your backgrouds!! Well, the height difference would only be noticeable to people who actually know these characters, so it works 100% for me!
 Anyway, I can so relate to not wanting to redo the characters. I am struggling with the size relations for my calendar entry as well...

Such wonderful poses! I should try to draw more gliders... this inspires me to do so! again, the shading is very nice!..
