Opening from the Leora Minibook I'm doing for Insertio, I also found that strange orange tape from local store and wanted to try making decorative borders for the drawing from it... nothing pretty, as scanner ate most of the colors… but here it is, anyway!...

I like the slit in her dress. It really caught my attention. Her knee and leg is so pretty. And the border is nice.

This reminds me very much of a painting I've seen, but just can't recall which one at the moment. The border works well with the illo; a little dark and overwhelming, but for a book border, it's perfect. Leora has a "Mother Nature" sort of look to her here, perhaps it's the color scheme and/or the use of leaves as decoration. Either way, I'm sure Insertio will love it! Oh, and I'm still working on that final surprise.

Yeah, there is something really goddess-like in her. I am so in love with the outfit. Just love it! And to put on some border is a really creative idea.

I wanted her to feel somehow distant and "alien" here, as she sometimes speaks to the humans, bringing messages from the elves to them... and the humans see her as a forest spirit (most think of her as a demon)... anyway they see her, it's clear she isn't human...
