Oh man, I think this is my favorite image of yours Berit! I love how bright her hair looks. And the shape of her ears too, it looks really great! Poor girl looks relieved, happy, a bittersweet memory perhaps? I also like the contrast of her skin and clothes with the green behind her.

Wonderful emotion and shading on her. Why do your illos look great with color pencils and mine look like chicken scratch? It's not fair, I tell you!

So sweet! Good to know the backstory. And how wonderful that you don't show the ring as you and Insertio know the backstory to this, so it is not necessary and you can just enjoy the full emotion of this portrait.

Startear: Thank you, glad you like it! and about the Ring, its the only thing she has from her mother to remember her by... Her mother died quite a horrifying death and she has trauma's about it...
Amberfox: It's very hard to make stuff look like something when you scan colored stuff, usually I over color the original, so it might look odd in reality, just so that the colors would show even a little in the scanned art!... Treefox: The ring is too big for her to wear on her finger when she is in this form as it is designed for human hand... she is trying to think of something to keep it securely with her currently, she last time lost it when she tried making a necklace out of it (Lost it and almost hung herself on it, actually! hahah!)... |
