Here goes! I wanted to make a colored version too, though I might've gotten a bit carried away... 
There's barely any of Berit's line art left there! Nowadays I have so little time to draw anything, so I thought I could at least color something. I really should draw my own mermaid version at some point.

Ohhh I love the colours and the transition from the glowing purple to the dark blue to bright cyan! O,O I love the unique tail design too.

The colors are so great! I love the water effect, and how alien she looks. I also the gradients!

Oh! didn't even notice this before! hahah! (been busy for a week) This sure is a surprise! and I don't mid the linearts not being there! it was a fast doodle anyway! thanks for coloring this! though I don't know why you chose to color this sketch... but you sure made it look a lot nicer! nice effects you added here!...
