Ekah marker mess - 2016

Finally got this here! the scanner needed a bit more fixing than I anticipated... Anyhoo!! hope this isn't too horrible to look at! it was a mere sketch as I tested if I should have drawn the Ekah Wavedancer picture with markers, but they made a mess and looked wrong to my eyes... so there! fast upload as I'm already late from an appointment in a boring office!...
And Ekah belongs to Startear. I wonder if I made Ekah's face all too long?...

She looks wonderful! So noble and self-confident. You have chosen very nice skin tones. And the blue moons make a perfect contrast!

 Even though it is true that the markers made her skintone too dark, I still really like this. The way she holds herself. Her smile. The contrast between her skin and the blue moons. I absolutely adore this! Thank you so much Berit, this was wonderful, and just what I needed after a long and stressful week! And yes, of course you may post it on tumblr! |

I just slabbed the moons to the background because I though of Ekah being Moonshade's child and Moonshade having a moon necklace with moons linked to one another... Very striking! I like the strong colors, although I don't recall offhand how dark she's supposed to be, but I think it looks really interesting and quite stunning. As for her face being too long, I don't think so. Her lips seem just a little off to one side, but it's not a distraction from the overall image.

I get the feeling that her face is a tad too long, and sure the lips are off! (they always are when I draw them! hahaha!) well, it was a quick experiment! thank you for commenting Amber! always good to hear from you!...
