Naga Laluna - 2012

Thought I'd share this as well, Laluna in a mermaid form that resembles a Naga... (I actually don't know what she looks like as a mermaid, for Czarine has never confirmed her looks!)...
Oh, and this is also a photo of the drawing, I took it during a time when I didn't have a scanner...

Ooo, a Naga is something that I rarely see interpreted at all! She's still beautiful while also looking pretty menacing with that blood dripping from her hand!

Well, I like mythological creatures! true, I took some liberties here, but Nagas are awesome! I just wanted to try out something different with her mermaid/wavedancer form...

I think Laluna would be perfect as a Nagakanya in the capacity of protector and guardian of the thin veil between this world and the other (spirit or holy realm). She would have to see into one and know if they were pure enough to pass through that veil or be destroyed. Looks like she'd do an excellent job in this illo, even though she's missing the shell, water, and pearls to bestow on the worthy.

Nah! she'd be too nice! she would let most people pass!... only the exceptionally mean and rude ones would be the ones to perish!.. yeah, I skipped many things as I still wanted to keep this "Elfquesty" and somehow veils and pearls just didn't feel right, she didn't seem wild enough with them...
