The expression on the Bone Woman says it all.
I really like the contrast in colour, she's very much in the shadows while the rest of the piece is sunny and bright. Great work Treefox! |

There is so much going on here! Olbar and Malak, and Nonna and Selah! And the contrast with the bright, somewhat domnestic scenes and the Bone Woman who carries a sour expression... this is great!

Haha, thank you! I enjoyed drawing our human friends, especially Olbar, whom I have a real fondess of. I hope they indeed look like humans and not tall elves. The Bone Woman was also a blast to draw! But her costume once again is damned detailed! Also, this picture taught me a lot about digital drawing, especially that I need to learn a lot more. Converting everything done to .jpg Format changed more than I thought it would. But I do like learning processes! And gee, rarely did I draw something with that many characters in it!

As the others say, great job with the colours and contrast, it really represents the humans very well with the whole duality of good/evil(or trusting/fearful if you prefer). It also works great for February with the flowers and the snow! Really fantastic job with this, it's one of my favourites this year!

Bonewoman clearly doesn't like anything that's going on, so distant of the happiness and light in her own spiteful darkness... I really like that contrast here! it tells a lot of her mentality and overall mood... I also like the hut background! I also really like Nonna's pose in this one! excellent job on this, dear Treefox!...

Thank you both! Yeah, my idea was that Bone Woman is not too happy that she was cast out and still things are going quite well for Olbar and his tribe. So she is sulking in the dark.

I bet she wants things to go very bad for them... I think your idea truly works so well here! this is a nice, different calendar entry for having other things than elves...
