Old sketch of a wolf on envelope - colored 2015

Still in the mood for Halloween and wanted to color something without giving it much of a thought... found this ancient wolf drawing again so messed around with it! I've been dropping stuff without being able to comment lots lately, sorry 'bout that! life is a mess currently...

Also, I put the linearts for this in my lineart folder here in the galleries, mentioned this mostly for myself so I don't accidentally post them again later!...

I really dig this! I love how you colored the wolf's fur, giving hints of yellow shine from the moon! And the tree behind is so well done too. Maybe some yellow could have been added there too, but it might distract from the wolf though. I also like the bats, great addin for halloween!

Did you use the envelope for sending an actual letter, too? Anyway, as Startear says the use of light on the fur and the setting are nice! And all that with pencils.

Thank you both for the comments! yeah, I draw on the envelopes when I send pictures... that has always been my style! and true, yellow on the tree would have looked better, but I actually did the tree before I was even certain I was going for night theme! hahah!...
