Quick Dart sketch

I actually could steal a couple of minutes to make a wee little Dart sketch. Just wanted to sketch a character, that is again not drawn that often and especially one that I have never drawn.
Maybe he's thinking of Kimo here? Some sweet, but sad memories? I think he must miss him sometimes, right?

YAY! Treefox made art! and Dart, none the less! must admit I like the guy... but have never drawn him, oddly enough! soft lines, I think they fit to the mood perfectly... it sure seems like he is having pleasant memories that actually make him a bit sad... ahh... poor fellow...

I think I also like him. I mean, what's not to like? Maybe I feel I still don't know him too well... Anyway, I have definitely never drawn him and thought why not?
And I am aware that Kimo and him are not a couple, but a friend can missed at least as much as a lover, right? Dart's soft features are actually fun to draw and that hair! My hand just went totally wild with it.

I personally think that friend can be missed even more than a lover... but about Dart, I must admit I don't know much about him... because I haven't read so many of the comics featuring him, only few... and I bet it's fun to draw him! I really should give it a try as well! and you might've inspired me enough to do so!...

I never cared that much for Dart. It's not that I don't like him, I just never thought that much about him. Like Berit, I didn't read many of the stories that had a greater focus on him, so maybe I'm missing something. The hair...and I get slammed for impossible hair on my characters! Still, he does seem wistful and thoughtful. Maybe he's thinking of Sorrow's End, the home of his youth? Those he has loved and lost over the many turns? hard to say, but the mood is certainly there!

Oh yeah, that hair... I was shaking my head in disbelief while drawing it... but kudos for coming up with such a style.
