Is her house built in the desert as well? Or is this somewhere else?
It's a nice looking scene with such a background! |

The house is on a field near some forests, but there is a desert nearby if you climb some mountains... so Rayek met her on his travels out of the desert when he lost to Cutter...

The light touch of the water reflection is sweet.

The reflection is a wonderful touch, and the details against clean sketchiness make this illo really enjoyable. Leora seems to very content, a little delighted with the food she has with her that Rayek is not even a consideration for her at this moment. Rayek in this illo for me, however, is a little distracting since his size compared to the house makes the house look more like a doll's house. I am terrible with manmade objects, so I can't complain. I do think that if the house had been larger, Rayek smaller, or some strategically placed vegetation, it would've been an even better illo. At least in terms of the house.

Yup! the house sucks! I know! I seriously can't draw buildings! not even though I have a 3D model of her house, I still can't draw it! I also think Rayek's head is look too big here!..

Can't draw architecture to save my life... will I ever learn? But that scene still makes me wanna be there. Soo relaxing. I am happy that I live in the countryside to enjoy nature as much as I can.

I think buildings are quite boring to draw... something about the straight lines just makes it uninspiring to me! I too, am glad to be near nature, though I wish I could be even more in the forest... a bit too many humans around for my taste...

Yeah... last weekend we finally had a nice trip into the woods again and hardly met anyone. That was pretty neat.
