Never Leave
by Foxeye
I love the obscure characters of EQ, the unnamed crowds whose stories we never learn. This character, Windstone, did actually get to have a name. She appeared in the Forevergreen storyline, a sun villager who is also a warrior, so presumably she had been trained by Dart at some point.
Windstone led those elves who "held the line" against the attacking humans, buying time for the villagers to escape. It is presumed she died, but they never said for sure. She had a certain tough fatalism that I fell in love with, and the wildest flaming hair.

I like the shade of her skin. Windstone was cool, but I'm seriously rather confused over her skin color. By the time she showed up in New Blood, almost everyone was pale by default. Personally I like the theory that she was a full blooded Sun Villager who joined the Jackwolfriders best. So naturally I like the dark skin.

I'm a fan of the Windkin + Adhri = Windstone theory myself. ....but I've always been confused by her yellow/magenta hair.
