Akeena's suicide

I browsed a lot of old art the past week... made me nostalgic.
This one was from Rhovanion holt. Akeena stabbed herself after her mate recognized someone else. The high one Lirio tried to beg her spirit to come back and give life another chance. I was quite impressed by Samantha's and Linda's story on the forums, I just had to draw it (2003).

Gee, this is pretty dramatic. It also still holds up very well I think. So nice to go back and feel some nostalgia.
I really like this light at the end of the tunnel feel to this setting. Fits to her escaping spirit. |
