I always liked this. There is just a certain peacefulness there.

Well, I do! looking at the sky makes you forget about all those annoying people around!...

I wish looking up to the sky was all it took to get rid of annoying people (and there are too many of THEM around as it is). Few tend to draw characters in such an angle, I suppose because it's so difficult to do and make look realistic. Somehow I'm distracted by Marut's clothing and overall physique in this, plus the playful wispiness of Terra's hair. Something about those details really stand out for me. That and a realization: oh! so that's what Marut's hair would look like from that angle! Again, can't stress it enough - love the line work!

Well, it doesn't really get rid of them, but not looking at them is still better than watching their every damn move... I like drawing characters in weird angles... it gives more freedom to do things if drawing a scene or something... and sometimes feelings can be pictured better from angles... should draw ones like this soon... have been a little lazy with the backgrounds lately!...

For me, I have to literally be in the mood to give it a try or see it somehow in my head before I put pencil to paper. Sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't, and sometimes I need to just set it aside and figure out what's wrong with it later - I usually do. Doesn't mean I succeed in getting that image right, just that I can figure out what's wrong with it.
