Wonderful subject matter, and beautifully rendered, Maggie. (I am captivated by her nose, of all things...that's a fantastic nose.)

I cannot help thinking of when she said; "my self is dark!" I love her nose too, but also how colorful the clothing she wears is! It is a lovely cover!

This is beyond words. Stunning indeed... I really cannot praise this enough. As it is sad to have this "only" as the cover, this will get a separate spot on my wall.

Aww, the poor thing. Unrestrained tears. Most comfort her.
I still can't help it that my first association whenever I see her is a poodle. Sorry. Waaaah! :p |

Beautiful job on the hair ! BoTC cover number five shows us she does indeed have " poodle" hair. I saw it more as a little African- American myself at first glance in the 90's.

I love it! The colors, the gritty texture, the unusual idea and its outworking. Although she´s crying, she still stays the tough lady she is, almost puzzled by her own tears. Very good job! *thumbs up*
