The expression is great, and he mastery you have of markers is inspiring. But what I love most is how you've used gel pen! It is amazing!

I colored it the way I have been coloring all year; Copic markers on tinted paper. In this case, an ice blue paper (you can see the color at the top of the picture). The white was not done with gel pen, 'cause I hate those things, they never work properly. I used white ink which I added with a brush. I thought I might have overdone that part, so I'm glad you like it anyways.

I like the movement in this, she seems starled or afraid and moving backwards away from the danger. And it's all hand coloured?! Wow!

You are amazing with the trolls - and this just proves it AFKE. And Wow those fearful eyes, with just barely a hint of tears. All the emotion comes through on this one. Just wonderful - the color job rocks the heavens for sure.

Oooo, now that is interesting!
I always love to hear the stories behind the pictures as you all know. This year especially we all seemed to imagine the whole scenario that leads to the expression finally drawn on paper. |
