Scheming

Life has become busy recently and I felt like I hadn´t drawn anything for ages. I tried to get back into my comic, but I couldn´t quite find into it, so instead I doodled around with some older sketches, and this came out of it. Fortunately I still had the reference I used for this sketch, and so I worked it out. I used a different approach here than my usual way, rendering everything in b/w first and then apply the color on top. This way, the shading and contrasts usually turn out quite dynamic and nice, especially with such a clear-cut face. I can´t help it, I just love to draw this face. <3

Wow, as usual, this is executed so well. Great choice for that scheming kind of pose. I am just not sure, that I like that harsh coloring so much. But that is personal taste only. The colors too, are done beautifully.
What digital coloring program are you using again? |
