Wow! I really like this! The shadowy elk and the breath rising really makes me feel the cold. It looks like I've just walked up on Klagg when he expected to be alone and is not happy with me.

I love how his orange hair contrasts the cool, wintry colors. Must admit that I thought it was Zey at first though.

Heya! thanks for the comments ya all! I knew I took a risk by hiding Klagg's face, knowing that there is more popular red head among the go-back tribe. but none the less, I actually like it when you see very little about the elves beneath all the fur...

Oh absolutely! That was one thing I really loved when we were introduced with Jirda, how much fur she was under. It brought the coldness of the Frozen Mountains more home. (Cutter, why the hell did you not get something thicker, why didn't you freeze to death?)

Very nice (and quick)  addition to the Quarterly requests !   I like the color version the most; It really does convey the cold beauty of the  frozen mountains.

Ooooh! Great addition, Berit! Love the clothing as well. But the whole composition with the herd in the background is awesome! This is just a damn nice illustration. Again a picture that actually seems to tell a story.
