Something fast I did while I was bored out of my mind at work... yeah, it's flawed! but it was at least more fun to do than to listen to my boss rambling on and on about... something... I didn't really pay attention...

Pondering Marut is nice! Great composition on this again. And I love the woodland backdrop, who could I not? Looking forward to spend not more time in my garden, but also roam our woods again. Everything is awakening and smelling and looking so wonderful! Time to shoulder my bow and arrows and have some fun in the woods (shooting dead wood not animals that is).
Spending boring meeting time with drawing is great. I think my colleagues would sadly notice though...

Somehow, to me, this seems something like "a calm before storm" picture. Any second now Terra is going to jump out of those fir trees, probably chased by a rabid deer.

Thank you for the comments again! Well, funny thing about me is that I actually listen better if I draw... for some reason I usually wander off to some sort of fantasy world inside my head when I'm not allowed to draw when someone speaks to me... but the time I drew this, I didn't pay attention to anything... all the people in the work were giggling and talking something about curtains and carpets... I really couldn't have cared less... good that they had fun though!...

It's a nice picture :) I'm not familiar with this character, but he looks interesting :) I'm sure I'll be seeing more of him.

Hahaha! you betcha! Marut has turned out to be kind of a celebrity in EQ fanart if I dare say so myself!... He is my character and I usually use him in RPGs... but sadly, there haven't been that many RPGs of late... it makes me kinda sad...

Is this done in ballpoint pen?  I suspect it is.  :)  I love what you can do with that.

Yeah,  most of my lineart is done with ballpoint pens... about.... 90% I'd say... been that way for years... (got tired of pencil art getting smudged over time and inking got boring for me)... I tend to use tools that are not meant for art... kids markers for coloring... or if I do things with a computer I use a mouse... same with the paper... it's something that resembles paper close enough that I find near me... but that's about that! sorry for the long comment!...
