Part two of the couple drawing challenge is 'cuddling somewhere'. I first thought this to become my version of 'kissing' later on, since I can´t remember Wolfriders actually kissing and this shows two alternatives for them to that, but then again, it´s also wolf cuddle...

There has been some debate about whether elves in general kiss, but I think they likely would after a short time. I mean, the lips are some of the most sensitive areas on a body, and if wolves lick each other and press "mouths" against each other, why wouldn't the elves figure this out as well? That aside, they seem to be rather enjoying WHATEVER you want to call it. You do phenomenal work with profiles, too, darn it (a bit of envy creeps in). His hands seem a little flat to the rest of the shade work, but perhaps that's just because the faces are not only the focus but also because the faces may be what are really in any sort of varied light.

I love that, for such simple coloring, there's a lot going on here with delicate variations in skintone, and shadow. The gesture and interaction is just perfect. It looks a bit more teasing than passionate, perhaps… not that teasing can't be a component of passiong. ;-)
(I agree with Amberfox -- I appreciate the attempt to make people think outside the box, when it comes to romantic/passionate interaction. But there's no way I believe that wolfriders don't use their lips -- it's just too rewarding!) |

Many cuddle pics rather have a sappy mood, but I really wanted it looking rather playful than passionate for the cuddle theme. ^^ |
