Quarterly Art Contribution - Summer - Zhantee

So, I finished my contribution! I picked Zhantee as he doesn't seem to get much love at all... I always liked the little peaceful guy. I think he would have majorly enjoyed the short summer in the woods. So here he is!
Man, I enjoyed drawing this sooo much! Finally, my room is smelling of Copic markers again!

For a busy lady you sure are fast. :) I haven't even started thinking of an idea let alone post anything.

Aw it's nice of you to choose an unloved character and strip him down to his elf-day suit. ;D He looks so naked and happy...yay!

Thanks! Yep, as Spring has come so very fast here, I need all my time to work in my beloved garden. Therefore I wanted to finish this asap. I used every available minute to work on this. And I enjoyed it, too!
And while I totally wanted to draw nekkid Zantee, I figured his sexiness would be of a more shyer, held-back nature. He's not the "look at me I',m handsome" type, I think.
Hm, but looking at it on this screen, I think I will upload a version with more contrast.

Oh he is soooooo cute.  I have to admit to a small crush on this character myself.  I do love the peaceful, shy guy.

And the pose is so sweet !  I do agree that it seems like a pose that Zhantee would be relaxing in at the hot springs in the sun village.   But I think Zhantee fit so well with the Wolfriders because he was a follower and really cared about everybody.  His shield-magic  seemed like a plausible outcome to the influence of the Palace. 

THIS is great TREEFOX !  Thank you for sharing your talent.  Now you can listen to the Call of the yard.  I, too, love to work in my garden, however, the Inland Pacific NW has yet to have more than a hint of Spring so far.

Yay, Zhantee!! ^0^ Very nice idea to pay him some attention. I think he´s one of the most forgotten characters. The pose and serene expression suits him quite well and I just love the sunrays. The water and lilies (?) create a friendly and fresh atmosphere. I dig it!

You are right in that Zhantee gets little love. Which is weird, considering that he was a part of the main cast for a time. He looks so happy and naked here, sucking up delicious sunlight. :D I love how vissible the sunlight is in this image, and the highlights on Zhantee's body. Not to mention how well blended his skin colors is!

Hah, I was actually considering making a Spring Zhantee, he makes for a very pretty subject. I'm lovin' the pose and the general feel to it, it's super cute :3

I just love that you did Zhantee!  He DOES deserve more love!  And while this could be a very daring pose… on him, it just looks sweet.  :)  Lovely job.
