'Bloody' Fox Rackem of Oakleaf holt´s pirate AU game 'Elves of Fortune'
I drew this pic in reply to a chat doodle where I gambled with Foxtrail and his pirate alter ego Fox Rackem. (It´s also the reason why he´s shirtless xD)
Dreamcat: *sits down with Fox and FT and plays cards* your stakes, boys?
FT: I will be nice to whoever wins for three days
Fox: me shirt ^^
Dreamcat: okay, a portrait of the winner from me *shuffles* *deals*
FT: *looks at cards* and now? how does this game even work?
Fox: *bends to whisper* ye gotta show me yer hand, but make sure she ain´t spyin´ it as well e___e
Dreamcat: if you don´t know how to play, why don´t you say so earlier? ò_ô do you know how to dice?
Fox: aye! ^0^
FT: eh? x_X
Dreamcat: toss stones =__=
FT: sure! why don´t you say so? >__>
Dreamcat: *gets her dices out*
Fox: *picks one up* eh? what kinda dices be that? *eyes the thing*
Dreamcat: it´s a d20 ^^
FT: a what?
Dreamcat: a d20 ^^
Fox: a what?
Dreamcat: a dice with twenty sides -_-
Fox: *wrinkles nose* I ain´t gunna play wit´that stuff! it stinks fishy!
FT: oO(he stinks fishy >_>)
Dreamcat: *sighs* is there any game both of you know and play?
FT: *ponders* what about.... stone, water, twig? *looks questioning at the rest*
Fox: what kinda game be that? o_O
Dreamcat: I think he means stone, paper, scissors...
Fox: aye, that I be knowin´!
FT: good! hehehe, then let´s play! but let me warn you! I always win at that game! e___e
Fox: tsk... think ye be th´only wit´a lucky hand, huh? >__>
Dreamcat: calm down and get ready, boys.
FT: *holds up fist* one...
Fox: *holds up fist* ...two...
Dreamcat: *holds up fist* ...THREE!
FT: *shows stone*
Fox: *shows scissors*
Dreamcat: *shows paper*
FT: *scratches head* yeah... what now?
Fox: tsk... thought ye be always winnin´ >__>
FT: against you, any time! my stone still crushes your poor twigs!
Dreamcat: hey, calm down boys! to me the result is pretty clear...
FT: *rises eyebrow* huh?
Fox: *rises eyebrow* like how?
Dreamcat: easy! I lose to you, Fox. that means you´ll be portrait.
Fox: whee!
Dreamcat: you, Foxtrail, lose to me, so you must be nice to me for three days. *sneers*
FT: *kicks the table* ah, puckernuts!
Dreamcat: and, you, Fox, indeed lose to Foxtrail. that means he gets your shirt. *chuckles*
Fox: *grumbles* *takes off shirt*
FT: o_O I don´t want your stinking rag!
Fox: ye be thinkin´ I fancy givin´ it t´ye? ...but gamble depts be depts´o honor, aye? >__>

Hah! Wonderful!
 When I first saw the thumbnail of this, I had a brief moment where I read the title and then was trying to make sense of the picture just from what I could see... and I totally thought that the floating things might be flying squids. Obviously, feathers make SO much more sense! But squids flying around through the air would be very dream-like!

But hey, after you mentioned that I can see them too. My first question was, what's a pirat doing with feathers? Did he kill his parrot? The story is very helpful to understand what happened. But he's so handsome why isn't he allways without a shirt. *purr* The Picture is beautiful in colour and perspective. Nicely done! |

LOL cool vision with the squids... somewhat psychedelic, but I like it! xD
The feathers are a symbol for his lover (since it´s a pirate lovestory). His girl is a redhead named Kingfisher (hence his tatoo), he usually calls her 'Birdie'. |
